The strategy that I myself like to use is more of a long range sniper strategy. I like to get my units out of the enemys range and sight and destroy them without them knowing what happened or at least thats what i do in world in conflict.

Tank battles, massive tank battles lol

I like to establish strong defenses before making any attack efforts. It's always nice to be able to fall back on something when an attack goes wrong(and it will).

yea i have always learned (through expierences with past RTS games with friends) that defence is the first priority... if you dont have defence while your out atacking, the enemy can easily flank you and whipe out your whole country, civilization, etc.

i like to draw the enemy into a crossfire and blow the f*ck out of em, unless its not urban, then its kinda hard to do

The strategy i use in most games and will use in this one is using a low number of heavily upgraded units to harass the enemy and to support them with lots of artillary

Electronic warfare = disabling all your electronic stuff including vehicles and any anything a soldier might have. Stealthily deploy my snipers and heavy artillery and then youre dead.

good idea, but you will have to start just like everyone else so until then you may have to change up your strategy.

No I think he just plans to charge regardless....

Yeah, I'm terrible at RTSes.

I'm an agressive harasser, meanining small skirmishes all over the battlefield disrupting hostile forces. Any hostile's pursuing my forces after a skirmish get's lead into an ambush position making it harder to counter.

While the tactics differ from game to game, the idea is to keep map controll on my side and have my forces split as much as possible, keeping them mobile. Granted this works a lot better in rescource managment games, especially company of heroes.

As EF seems to be the most mobile of the factions I'm looking foward to play as them (altough the decision will ony be made after trying all three during the sp)

guerilla tactics
-hit and run
-ambush
- never reveal your full strength
-hit em hard and hit em fast.

I take the element of surprise to whole different level.
