Are you infering that tanks do not "shoot?"

no he meant it was only for infantry... and wanted to know if we thought it was a good idea to be able to pick up your enemies weapons.

Brandon, am I to assume from the thread title that you find lethal weapons better than non-lethal?

If so then I disagree. The idea could be good if supply lines were cut and you were running out of ammo, but in any other instance it probably wouldn't be practical in a warzone.

no not really..
because how he made the topic Eu getting non lethal weapon and stuff...
if they can pick up a weapon from a dead JSF squad that would make the non lethal squad very lethal duel to JSF weaponry

yeah, but that might undermine the reasons for non-lethal weapons in the first place.

I'm not sure what your view is from your posts. Do you think it would be a good feature?

F-22? SU-35BM and Mig-35 will deal with Raptor. And just wait for PAK-FA.
F-35? Su-30 will engage it.
Abrams? What's so futuristic about it? T-80 and T-90s for him. And T-95 next year
and...TOPOL-M for protection of the countryTruce

an F-22 would completely wreck an Su-35 before the Flanker even knew what hit 'em

skyraptor - the US is still number one (for now at least)

Su-35BM has plsma-stealth and leaves the same signal on radar as F-22. It also has an upgraded endgines with full 3D thrust-vectoring. ALso Su-35BM has a new VERY powerfull radar.
air-to-air mode: 30 targets tracking
8 targets simultaneous attack

And offcourse the maneuverability. Remember the videos of Su-37 from the 90s? Well this SU-35BM is actually it's successor. It is 4++ generation fighter? Why not 5th generation? It needs afterburner to reach supersonic however the top speeds is the same as Raptors
Even the design of SU-35BM has been changed. Some parts like air brake were removed

Tongue

You guys are forgetting one thing. The shear amount of planes that Russia has and how quickly we can manufacture them. Sure their lower quality but there's a hell of a lot more of 'em. Smile

SmashCan't agree on lower quality... not in military technologies
And it's not the number that matters. Look at China. They have 4000 fighters but most of them are Mig-21s and Mig-23-like planes. The lastest Chinase jet J-10 is even wurse than F-16 and a Mig-29

Russia does have many high quality weapons, I can't argue there. But just look at the BMP-3.
