So your saying the countryside is worthless?
Even if it contains Airfields, Army bases, Power stations, Spaceports and all the nations home grown food supply. Most of these are outside cities not to mention all cities would be cut off from one another but no I ment nuke the farms num nuts. That just shows your lack of intelligence. Also your confusing governments and capitals as one in the same which is wrong. Cities can't move people can the government would be placed at the most strategic position. |

Alternate version of the naval mission support
Possible names: Naval Bombardment Naval Warfare Naval Support Naval Strike Bombardment Littoral Warfare (Link) Availability: Coastal map LEVEL 1: Your battalion is granted access to the use of two Navy destroyers. Their fire is not accurate because of low signal confidence so moving targets are unlikely to be hit, however this also means if there is multiple targets in the area you are likely to damage more of them. This costs 4cp. LEVEL 2: Stronger signal confidence allows your attached Navy destroyers to fire a larger and more accurate salvo due to higher confidence, this means that more damage is done to the intended target but less area of effect damage This costs 5cp. LEVEL 3: Signal Confidence is now high enough for the Navy to authorize your supporting destroyers to fire cruise missiles in support of your battalion. Cruise missiles are where you see the real diffrences between the factions Naval Bombardment is only available on coastal maps. Naval Bombardment can't be used against Gunships. Each Factions Naval characteristics: JSF Rail launched guided munitions are more accurate then other factions resulting in more damage to the intended target but have less area of effect damage. Their cruise missile has cluster munitions and deploys a short term minefield. EFEC weapons use EMP warheads which disable the enemy units for 5-7seconds, essentially a very short term electronic warfare. SGB vessels use larger guns and fire more shells but have much lower accuracy compared to other factions, before any one says this is overpowered it's exactly how they describe the differences between the Russian artillery and other factions. Strategically, yes, countryside is worthless. Large area, low population, low infrastructure, and contrary to your statement, many military facilities are located in or near cities. No young recruit wants to be posted in the middle of nowhere, away from their families, friends and the excitement of a city. But at least your naval idea makes a little more sense now. I told you no battleships. Still, navy ships wouldnt have guns of different size, which is what it sounds like. |

Bad flight path glitch

I disagree that capitals don't really mean anything. Sure, if taken, it may not decide a war in terms of any specifically direct benefits for the conqueror from taking it. But, I have little doubt a country who loses their capital city will not be heavily demoralized and possibly in chaos from losing what the country sees at its center of society.
