These people that make games aren't even utilizing the fact that ps3 games are made on blu ray, most of these games say that they support 1080p or 1080i, but when you go to play them they default at 720p this really ticks me off, one of the many reasons I got this game (and a ps3 and HDTV) is for the 1080 resolution... I looked on the back of the game and it says Supported HD output: 720p, 1080i... guess what it displays at 720p which is insanely nerve racking!!!!!

Yea progressive scanning is needed for gaming at high defs, interlaced just looks shaky and bad. If it can't go 1080p then 720p is still much better than 1080i.
