yea!, Tanks are awesome esp. the cannon but u would be a huge target thats the sad part

Australian Infantry officer, im joing up when i turn 19 (5 more years) so ill be set, if in the highly rare chance i can get the grades, i wan tto be a fighter pilot or fly Tiger attack helicopters

this might be odd but i would try to enroll to the best spacial force team
they would teach me nearly everything for a "All Rounder solder"
sniper
heavy weapons
spec
etc
but i won't join up for splinter cell or whatever ....

if i don't get accepted in ..
i would be a sniper
i like aimthing for things from a far sight
and sniper's are morely trained and stealth and hard to aim for.

Hehe all my Asian friends wants to be a sniper I wonder why?

While that makes very little sense, from the general idea I got from it I can state; thats what Claymores are for! They cover openings really well. Its also part of the spotter's job to keep the shooter covered.

I find it funny that most of the guys on this forum want to be snipers. The medical and mental requirements for that job are crazy. (And you might as well forget it if you don't have 20/20 vision.) I personally plan on going 19D in the National Guard when I get out of college in two years. Though a body can get to sniper school that way as well, it depends on what happens.

That's the great thing about laser eye surgery isn't it..... I would be surprised if there wasn't a way to get 20/15 vision....

There have been reports of that actually happening so I guess its plauseable...you still have to pass the APFT with a 70%, qualify as an expert with two weapons, and pass the mental evaluation.

actually its 20/20 correctable vision. that means if you wear glasses and your eyes are 20/20 you can be a sniper if you pass. there are a few sniper who wear glasses

well that means I gota sign up, after I enlist, and wait til I cang et my eye surgery :P

If had to join the military, i would join the Air Force. Its mainly because ive always wanted to fly, but the fact that very few countries can stand up to america air-wise is a bonus

True True... I am scared ****less of heights lol though. I still get the balls everytime I gota get on a ride that goes way up........ But I guess thats why they train ya anyways :P. You either become a pilot... or you have a psycotic episode, either way you'll be out of the training academy :P

Even if splinter cells do exist, it would be next to impossible to prove...could you imagine the PR problem if our society found out that the government was using splinter cells.

Come on dude, not cos you dont see aliens means they dont exist, same goes for em, There always has to be a branch or entity above and beyond the law.... kind a like .....oo I know the Specters from mass Effect, although not public lol. Coz law is what keeps society straight, but when just one individual goes beyond the law to destroy law itself, well you need someone just as ruthless yet stable to take the pR!ck down.
