You obviously have never had the experience because your an american but conversations with your average countrymen about the war degenerate into "we saved your asses" or "the french are pussies". so no, I am not being oversensitive. as for ww2 movies, there are couple of good ones about the canadian forces. The devils brigade comes to mind. |

I do agree with what Kryios said:
Even as an American I am disgusted by how much some of us use WWII to trash talk other countries. Look at youtube, you can't watch any video regarding the French military without at least a dozen little morons making surrender jokes, or talking about how "crappy" the French military is. And worse, they actually try to prove it by talking about "how they lost in 1940 without any resistance" Gawd damn!  Let's just say that all major countries in the war did their part, okay? |
