Well, i really hope this to be splitscreen, not only will be the first of it's class in doing so but also will be really fun, im not sure but in this page saids that the number of offline player's is two, check it and tell me waht you think

Split screen would be great for playing with your mates for fun, but if you where having a serious match then it would ruin it.

It does seem like it would get very confusing though both people yelling into their microphones. dont know exactly how that would work.

some people would prefer to use the D-pad then voice

but i kinda agree with Bristis comment
because in like some shooting games i kinda tend to look onto my friends screen to see we're they or if they are sneeking up on me.
and plus that's kinda good at the same time you can counter there plans
