Who do you think has the more in depth, stronger, better, commanders?

Please state why you voted the way you did and for God's sake try to keep it somewhat PG so this can stay open.

My personal vote goes to the XBOX 360 of which I am a part of ranked #8 persistent and #9 EFEC (which is my current and favorite faction) This is because our #1 (Kid Soldja) went over to the PS3 and mopped the floor against him (Ravenclaw or something of that nature).

Question:
In a war of the consoles who would come out on top?

Choices:
PS3
XBOX 360

The ranking system of any game are a joke, especially in this game's case where you can be a terrible player but as long as you play a lot(especially weekends) you can get high ranking battalions. I have played several top ranking players and they rely 90% on secondary attacks and upgrades and 9% luck, leaving a measly 1% to their "skill", not to mention the ranking for this game only takes into account the amount of games played, not w/l rations, not how often they bail to save their units, just the amount of time you play beating up on new or more casual players with your super battalion.

There's no way you could answer your question, ubisoft would have to open skirmish mode to cross platform and then hold some form of wide spread tournament that gives everyone, not just the losers who spend the most time playing a chance to play.

This is true b....whatever....

However I disagree with your break down of the luck, skill, and unit ranks. I don't know what faction you played as but I'm currently EFEC as I stated. Having played as this faction many times before and being as high as #3 I take my role and credit seriously. I don't know how the PS3 breaks down anymore but there aren't many "noobs" left on the 360 simply because new games have come out and the die hards have stayed with EndWar. To say you lost to someone based on the fact they had secondaries and you didn't tells me that you aren't a very good strategist. I've been winning all week long with nothing but EMP at my back with a brand new battalion (current highest ranked unit is a hardened riflemen). I ran into 3 of the top ranked SGB who have stacked battalions and beat all three of them rolling nothing but regulars.

I take offense to your stand on this issue that none of it involves skill. Actually it requires the most skill when you have lower ranked units and are fighting the best of the best. The fact you don't know this simply tells me that your fan base on the PS3 isn't very strong or talented.

How the do you know I lose to people with secondaries? You are making a lot of assumptions, I can beat people with ranking battalions fine when I do not, and I do because I get bored and change factions/battalions on a fairly common basis, something most players are afraid to do because they don't want to lose everything.

Don't try to get all high and mighty, it will only show you for an elitist, which is already fairly evident based on your first post.

So what are you trying to say here then? You say you switch factions quite a bit and still win, ok congrats. Now are you winning against the best of the best with these new battalions or are you "beating up on the noobs"? As you put it. I don't know if you've noticed but this game favors so called elitists...those that have been around long enough to rank their units and battalions high enough to achieve special attack status and the bonuses that go with having those higher ranked units. Of course none of this takes much skill anymore with the introduction of double XP weekends but that's another debate that I have issues with because its ruined the game as well.

You can feel free to call me names and do whatever it is you must to rationalize your argument but my points remain valid. Notice how you didn't refute anything I said only called me a name based on my first post without backing up anything of what you said from either post with specific examples or detailed enough wording so that I could comprehend your points.

Your description of the ranking system makes no sense because, the game isn't based on win/loss ratio you're right but it is however based on number of wins vs number of losses. This is depicted in the new 3 minute rule that a game has to last 3 minutes in order to count for the theater and dash boarding/quitting (as you put it bailing to save units) show up as numbers in the loss column. I will admit that there is no real penalty other than a number there and if you don't care about your record then it serves no purpose. Which is why I protested that dashing only gives you a loss. My solution to this problem was that any units the commander has on the field at the time of the dash/quit should be permakilled so they can start over with all those units in order to prevent leaving to save one. This would solve a lot of problems such as EMP/nuke then dash or someone using air strikes on downed units but leaving when theirs get killed.

Anyway I'm getting off topic. I'm not trying to get all "high and mighty" I have proven myself on the 360 console by beating some of the top players we have to offer. From what I've been told by people that also own PS3s that have played EndWar on both consoles. Our noobs would have a shot at beating some of your best players and our best players mop the floor with your best. This is proven fact...I can't verify this information right now because the posts I could use to quote are currently locked down in the end war board forums. Takes this as you will for what it is but you cannot refute any of these arguments because they are nothing but fact and the truth.
