1. I really think the game could use more places to take cover to make the field more diverse and interesting - like infantry capable of utilizing craters, the sides of buildings (instead of just the buildings being garrisoned), or being behind hills with enemies on the other side of it. Smoke grenades being implemented in some way would also be cool.
2. Being able to just say the voice command you want for a unit currently selected - You know, your camera and unit selection is currently on a rifleman squad - so you just say "Secure Alpha", and the game has that squad do that order. It'd be nice to shave a second from saying "Unit #" beforehand. 3. Inner-building combat - probably very hard to even implement, but having buildings that are more extensions of the battlefield than just something on it to garrison in would be totally awesome and unique. 4. Flesh out the suppression mechanic - you hear your XO saying a unit is suppressed occasionally, but I certainly didn't understand it very well. To better allow players to use it in the battles, it should be explained in full. EDIT: In light of N3V30's reponse, they should just implement a suppression mechanic anyway because it's a staple of infantry tactics! :3 5. Allow players to use a full 12 units in team games - it'd just make it feel like World War III much more. This message has been edited. Last edited by: VutherA, |

Most important thing by far - make sure it isn't a rock-paper-scissors type gameplay. Put actual distinct units for the different factions.

Every RTS game has rock-paper-scissors type gameplay built in, most games don't make a big deal out of it by plastering it everywhere. And there is already a topic for this...Somewhere. http://www.hasthelargehadronco...oyedtheworldyet.com/

1: Yes sounds good.
2: Yeah why not. 3: If it could be made to work then yeah. 4: Don't know what your talking about. 5: As long as it didn't affect the running of the game. |

Try playing against the computer, and sending a unit against a counter of them. You should see a status of 'suppressed' on their unit window at some point during the battle, and hear your XO saying that they are. |

When they are 'suppressed' it just means they are low on health.

Are you sure about that? I recall it happening when just their shields were down... |

Nope, just when their health is red. Its possible their shield went down when they had low health though. http://www.hasthelargehadronco...oyedtheworldyet.com/
