Ubisoft today announced the release of the “Faction Elite Pack” downloadable content (DLC) for Tom Clancy’s EndWar™ available for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system. The DLC is available for 300 Microsoft points or $3.75.

The “Faction Elite Pack” DLC will include three new battalions (one per faction) and six new upgrades (two per faction). These new elite battalions include the legendary JSF 15th Special Operations, the Spetsnaz Alpha Brigade, and the Enforcer Corps Battlegroup. The “Faction Elite Pack” will also grant immediate access to six exclusive unit upgrades including Ceramic Armor for the Spetnaz Guard Brigade and Caseless Ammunition for The European Federation’s Gunships to name a couple.

Can you please be more specific about what the upgrades are?

How about telling us what the advantages of these new battalions are. Or how the new upgrades factor into use of the units and their power?

At the very least list what each of the upgrades are called.

I can answer those:

1. Yes the upgrades are for any battalion (within the relevant faction).

2. Yes.

If you have the DLC will you be matched against people that do not have the DLC or do opponents all have to have the same upgrades downloaded?

Or, what if I am playing co-op skirmish with friends and I DL the pack and they don't have it, can we still play skirmish matches against the AI or against each other - as those units are pre-set by the AI anyway and we can't select what Battalion we get.

I don't see why not, I have gone up against russian tanks with the aa guns so this shouldn't be any different.

Thanks, that is good to know you can still me matched against people regardless of what DLC you have or don't have.

Russian Alpha Brigade: -5% tank attack +10% tank health 4 of each unit, + attack to art and + health to transports. In other words garbage battalion and upgrades are just an extension to the bridge between low and high level units.

Hope the other factions got something worthwhile but it wasn't enough to make me return, quite the opposite infact.

The case of the missing upgrades is finally solved

Ever wonder where those upgrades that appeared on the swag pack list were, well now they've all come out in some sort of DLC pack. Does this mean no more dlc?

You lose all ranks and you get back half of your funds.

If you change to one within your current faction you keep all money and upgrades, but only loose ranks.
