Whenever I try to run Dark Messiah Single Player my computer loads until a message box appears saying "A required security module cannot be activated.
This program cannot be executed (3000). Please have a look at http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=module&c=3000 for further, more detailed information." When I follow the link all it tells me is
that I should deactivate a program called SoftICE. The problem is I have no clue what SoftICE is and dont know how to deactivate it.

That is software not allowed by Securom copypotection for obvious reason. It is also part of a stealth debugger program for Operating Systems.

I know what the problem is now but im still have another question. I think the reason my game won't work is due the fact I'm running the XP OS on a Virtual Machine because I have Vista and I didnt want to get rid of it for XP. Is there anyway I can play Dark Messiah on a Windows Vista machine.

Of course four242007. Just install it. Make sure you have an up to date Vista.

DM will not run on Virtual Machine.
