Im running the game on 32x vista and have F-Secure antivirus. F-secure won´t let mm.exe start because it says mm.exe is trying to make a process in C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe

What´s up with this? I dlthe patches from UBI and i have the original game disc.

The skyes and some other texture look like they are in 8 bits, should it be like that or is there a fix for it?

1. Disable (or reboot without) antivirus- and system protection software before running any game. You are only proving again that such software can block a game from running at all. Of course there's no virus involved.

2. Could you show a screenshot? I have the same card.
EDIT: oh yeah i know the spilt oil from jars is extremely low resolution. Noticed that on my old X1900XT as well, also on the GF7800GT. Seems it's just that in the game.
Some dark skies look like they are watercoloured on rough paper (as an artist myself i find that charming )

Hi BN and thanks for your reply, well im not proving anything cuz this never happened in any other games im running..I have my antivirus running all the time i game and there have never been any trouble at all in any game (untill now). I had to set my antivirus to let mm.exe run.

I would upload a screenshot if i new where they are stored on vista hehe. I saw in one of your many post a couple of screenshots you can see the sky with 8 bits. (the one regarding HD 3870)
