When using a router, you don't need a software firewall, most routers have a hardware firewall built in. So, do not use ANY software firewall.

When you come back, download and install the most recent drivers for your SiS191 100/10 Ethernet Device from here: http://www.sis.com/download/download_step1.php.

Downloaded, tried to launch MP windows firewall and F-Secure disabled, still the same problem.

Your DirectX is outdated. Also your Via chipset drivers, but let's leave that for now.

1. . Update your directX9.0c version to the latest, April 2007. Update via Microsoft Update, or via: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/Dir...edistributable.shtml

2. Right-click DMMM Multi-player > Properties > tab Local Files > "Verify integrity of game cache..."
and
"Defragment cache files".

3. Close, and exit Steam from the taskbar.

4. Right-click on the Steam-created DMoMM-multiplayer shortcut on desktop > Properties. In the "Target" box, after the last letter, HIT SPACEBAR ONCE (mind the space!!!), then add the parameter:

So you reinstalled windows. Then please do the dxdiag and settings report all over.

1. SETTINGS EXPORT:
