hello. i have a very strange problem. i isntalled the game and the intro movie starts fine, then i choose the options and i click apply. then i clcik on start new game and the choose difficulty level shows up. then i choose noramal and click ok. but nothing happens. i keep clicking ok but the game wont budge this is by far the weirdest error ive ever come across in a game. i have a toshiba satellite with a geforce 8600 gt with windows vista home premium, and my drivers are up to date. i also updated the game with both patches. if anyone can help i would be in your debt. thanks

I have the ewxact same problem. I've read trough you're post but didn't find the solution. So either it's not there or I'm a stupid fool that didn't read closely enough.

Either way. Could you please post the solution here or where (in what post#) I could find the solution. You'd do me a huge favor. I've been waiting for a long time to play this game
