So after browsing the internet for thousands of possible solutions to that issue, i found myself with an unexpected solution that worked flawlessly for me, and i wanted to share it with you guys, hoping some of you may get a similar problem fixed this way as well. This didnt only affect my DMoMM but also every other high end graphics game i had.

After formatting my comp and reinstalling windows, i, naturally, found out that my DMoMM finally worked fine, until i reinstalled my Pc-Cillin Internet Security 2007! yes, an anti virus. Right after reinstalling it the problem reappeared, and as i uninstalled it the problem got magically solved... but what has an anti virus to do with graphics? i have no clue at all... but hell it works and i recommend you to try it. Im not sure but there could be a patch for this in the trend micro page, anyway i changed to another anti virus. I hope this info was helpful.

I have the same AV on 3 PC, two of them run DM perfectly.

Some antivirus programs -falsely- consider the Securom copyprotection as a virus. I suppose that is what happened here.

ALWAYS, before installing/running a game, disable antivirusprotection.

I tried turning off realtime protection, shutting down all the AV processes, and also removing it from windows start, and all of them at once, and my games just wouldnt work, unless i completely uninstalled it.

As i mentioned before it affected many of my games, some dont even have a securom protection, most of them would run apparently fine, then they would start having some serius video glitches that become more frequent as the game progressed (stuff not being drawn on the screen, wrong textures, etc), until they completely freeze/reboot my comp. This got, somehow, solved as i uninstalled my AV.

I dont have anything against this AV, i actually liked it, but i just cant find any other way to fix the problem.

Aha, ok. But you keep calling it an antivirusprogram while it is more, and it does more than protecting against viruses. Disabling realtime protection apparently not being enough (as you said), i guess there should be another option you didn't find. I don't have it myself so i wouldn't know.
Uninstalling such program to be able to run a game seems a bit drastic.
But i'll add this to the faq, hopefully it's a fix for others. Thanks for sharing.

As I said before I have the same AV.
It only affects my games when it checks HDs for virus or spywares when playing games.
This process usually exit to desktop, I usually blame it and recall game from application bar...
And I can keep playing again. (with DM too) (I really hate him when I'm VIP in Hospital Rescue, America's Army, and this happens )

It affects every program when launched the very first time, asking you what to do, whether allowing memory or internet access, but when you accept it, it never annoys anymore (so far).

You should have a tab in "protection against viruses and spyware" saying "exceptions list" (or similar, I don't have the english version so I might translate something wrong) where are listed the programs allowed to be loaded in memory, check your games are not listed there.
