In chapter one when I'm on the horse and the building falls, the guard drags me but in the opposite direction of the gate and i go through the ground. What is wrong?

K well I re-installed it but this time I used the disc instead of Steam and now when I get past the cutscene the screen turns black, but it isnt the one with the white Z.
