Hi iv had an issue working dark messiah on vista well it just doesnt start up at all, when i click on the shortcut its starts normaly but without anything on the screen (just the sounds) i have searched the internet for fixes and im suprised that Ubisoft hasnt actuly done anything to fix it (maybe a patch that resolves the issue) as of yet i havnt seen one, so im just asking if anyone does have a genuine fix for this issue?

vista 64bit is what im using my specs are well above what is required so that isnt the issue

Ok i have somehow fixed ito.O i found a post on the nvidia website(http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=37038)
i follwed what he said and changed compapility mode and ran as admin and it started and the game ran but! there were no textures at all the starting level was 100% black just the outline and charaters were just dots which coverd there entire body. i then started it again but changed my gfx setting to full and everything worked fine (for the 2mins i played) textures were there AI worked ect but i had some issues actuly getting the main menu upo.O firstly for people who have plaeyd it before....you know after all the starting clips before it gets onto main menu? theres a loading bar just before that..well that did not appear at all i waited and nothing happend..i then ctrl+alt+del to minimize the game, then i maximized it again and all the menu's appeard.
