it still doesn't explain where the powers came from in the first place. Just like the sands, the power were not explain, but the game is still based around itXD |

The gods... Even in fantasy, things don't just happen, there's always a cause, sure, it might be something like a god interfering, or magic, or someone from another race, but it ALWAYS has a cause, just cause it's fantasy doesn't mean there are no rules there. @Zap: us anime people have found that it is best to write in pink on the lighter blue background, and in green on the darker blue background for spoilers How've ya been? |

Hey Tristan and UnDead_Knight.
I just moved from NJ to FL for my doctorate in pharmacy degree that I've started on. Its so much work and memorization that it is not even funny any more. But other that, its been good. How about you guys, how's everything been going here. Thank you UnDead_Knight, I will make note for next time. |

The "roof run," although at the very least is interesting, I have to agree with Undead Knight. Even though this is a fantasy game, the Prince is only human and cannot defy the laws of nature. If they're going to throw gravity out the window, they might as well let you float and hover too. Who needs feet when you can just fly around?
But he does have his gauntlet, so he can grip into the ceiling. If they change it from a flat-out run to more of a crawling of sorts where he uses his gauntlet to crawl along sort of like Spider-man for short periods of time, then I'd be able to agree with it more. And yeah, "ceiling run" would probably be more appropriate than "roof run." On another note, they've put all of this emphasis on fighting and how it's going to "rival scenes found in cinema," yet I've watched several videos where combos are flying by in the blink of an eye, where fights are so fast, that it's practically inappreciable. It's all so fast and blurry, the Prince is slicing at enemies one instant, and in a flash it's all of a sudden Elika who's doing the fighting, and before you know it, it's back to the Prince again. These fights are so fast that, in my opinion, they're practically impossible to enjoy. In my opinion, I think that if you want to put emphasis on the fights so much, you need to slow things down just a tad. I can't enjoy what I can't see. |

I agree with this, I mean there are going to be few fights in the game from what I understand, so they should make them slower and takke more time, not fast paced action, if you want that type of action, then you should have put many enemies like in DMC... |

Well we've only seen one fight so far, maybe the hunter is just a really fast one
Smoke signals from my last cigarette let me know that it's finally getting old. It will never change. So here it stays. Forever is my name. Do not mistake coincidence for fate. |

And what if he isn't?
We're just pointing out the flaws we see so that they'll fix them while there's still time...or at least learn so the next one would be better. |

That monster in the development diary didn't look like a Hunter to me. No scissor blade thingy.
Yet again I agree with Undead Knight. Having fewer enemies is all the more reason to make what little fights you're going to have be as enjoyable as possible. The combos look amazing, or at least, they would look amazing, if I could actually see them. Just slow the speed a little bit and it would be perfect. No sense in spending all that time making an amazing combo that is going to begin and end in the blink of an eye. |

it wasn't the hunter it's another corruption if you look close there where at most 3 of them the Broadsword the one with a sword that looks close to a Scimitar and one with a plant like look. Anyway beside pointing out those guys The Hunter seems to have the biggest back story from his story he sounds like an alternate version of the Sands of times Triology prince even having slight hints like the chains he has like the dark prince, his face with looks the sand wraith |

Well I'm talking about the one the Prince was fighting, just in case you weren't sure.
But the plant-like one on the computer screen is another form of the Hunter, I'm pretty sure. The devs have said that each kind of corruption will have four different forms, I think, each of which will force the Prince to use a different tactic on them. And in the E3 demo, after fighting for awhile, the Hunter transforms into a plant similar to the one on the screen. So I'm pretty sure that one was a Hunter. |

The plant like enemy in the devdiary we only saw in the animation editor wasn't the hunter. The hunter has a total different weapon. I think it was the corrupted form of the enemy with a scimitar like sword. |

I'm talking about the guy with the board sword who was fully rendered and textured with the health bar that has the words "IN GAME FOOTAGE-WORK IN PROGRESS" below it. The plant guy with the scimitar looks cool though. there was a third guy who was also in the animation editor he appeared first the prince was stabbing him in the gut |

I don't think the prince defies gravity at all, it just seem that he is just able to run 2 ~3 steps after propelling before he needs to slam his gauntlet into the ceiling to prevent him from dropping off and dying. He uses the property of propelling to move foward, the 2 to 3 steps is just for show i think. XD |

This is your answer: Sword -> Not the Hunter. |
|||
|
I'm NOT asking if that's the hunter or not but WHO THE F*** IS IT dose have a code name like the hunter dose it have a cool background will it play a bigger role then just one of the random bosses |
||||
|
Egh.
As to the roof run, I don't mind it -- if I can accept wall-running, it ain't much further to go with roof running. What amuses the crap out of me is the lack of griping I hear about the combat's physics defiance, followed by grousing about the roof run. Still buying this atrocious marketingfest, at this point, still praying Ubisoft is listening and will remove all anime influence from the next one. |

She's a mage who's main purpose to protect the tree but since she fails at that she needs to find a way to get the corruption under control I'm not sure where your getting the DB refrence from flying has been around since astro boy anime influance??? man you need to explain yourself or STFU because I can explain how it's not remotely anime like beside alittle bit with celshading 1.Celshading even thought normally used in japanese developed games is being used in this game to bring out more of the original look of what the concept artist drew 2.bright colors are usually symbolization of heroes and not of just anime type art 3.The effects that magic and corruption appear as in the game are usually described that way in European and middle eastern pictures of the their folklore and stories |
