It's shorter, but has a little extra footage (at the expense of video quality...). I actually think it works better than the original in terms of how it's structured as a trailer.

Does my copy of the trailer conveniently miss out the bit with the Assassin's Creed Assassins in it? I saw a bunch of guys in black robe-ish-things, but they, if anything, looked more like the Mejai (sp?) from The Mummy than Hashshashin...

hmmm yeah... this probably isnt the dark prince. Looks like the holder of the dagger gets out of their body and watches how time rewinds. And the looks (actually the sand scar ornaments - he doesnt have the black skin or black face glowing eyes and smokin' hair :P) are like an Easter egg for fans. Sadly this gotta mean no funny Dark prince comments! But oh well - looks awesome nevertheless! I just hope they haven't revealed too much of the movie. sometimes trailers can spoil all teh fun and surprizes of movies

WOW! I think there isn't going to be a Hourglass! In the 2nd trailer Tamina says that the sands are hidden within a sacred dagger. This has to mean all of them are there

I don't think so ....remember the part of the trailer were Ben Kingsley says " Time erases everything......" after that we see the dagger gets plunged into something ..... it was not clear but i hope its the hourglass..

yeah and there's a quick glimpse of Ben glowing, turning golden maybe he'll turn into that creature from the ending of TT

well it's clear now, it's Dastan's brother check out the other thread in which Jordan Mechner explains it

Yeah^ At first I was like: WTH?! he is blond! Then I realized that he is not actually Dastan's brother because Dastan was adopted by the king. And then I realized why he is evil. Because Dastan is stealing his throne. and Maybe both Nazim and him don't like Dastan taking the throne. Maybe they even want to rewind time so that the king doesn't take him in his care!

I heard Nizam don't like them all...... he wants the dagger for himself..... i don't know what he plan to do with it !!!
