after some googling i found the highest temp in sapin in 2008 was 42.1C and the hottest temp ever recorded in spain was 47 in seville

which i can find understandable. but where as i live in the desert and the temperature goes over 50 on seldom occasions and i live on a beach.

I wish England was warmer. A few summers ago we got something near 40°C, but now everybody seems to go crazy over stuff like 28°C, calling it a heat wave? It's just summer.

yea i was in Chelmsford for part of my summer and everyone was crying about how hot it was, i was like, this is amazing, when i go back to the desert its going to be way over 40.

I also went to italy and it was fairly hot there too... but still nto as bad

Maybe she means with like warm winds and humidity it's like 40 but it feels like 50 or whatever.

no no no no! under the sun i left a thermometer and it marked 56 degrees!! it was just one day, but it happened! now we have temperatures of 36, 38 ... near 40 degrees, but july was awful.

ahh see when you leave in somewhere it matters, what did you leave it one? if it was rocks or sand, you got the temp of that not the average atmospheare. So your thermometer read 57, but that wasn't the temp of the air, thats the temp of the ground or what ever you left it on.

because the temp in Spain has never reached 57 that's for sure, even with hot air from he sahara, it cant be hotter then the sahara.

then come here and tell that to the ones in the street. Mine was in the wall, and i have a digital one that always gets the same temperature than that. And, plus, who´s gonna know it better?? you or me? The one who lives in spain is me

each summer is hotter and each winter is warmer and warmer! please, i have been with summer clothes in october and then they say wheather isnt changing ...

yea im in summer clothes 365 days of the year.... the city i live in has an average temp of 40C

i lived in spain a few years ago( i move around alot) and i can tell you it was not this hot. Granted it would have gotten hotter but the facts dont lie, the highest AIR TEMP recorded in spain is 47C i don't know exactly what your set up is but i can tell you it was reading the temperature of the wall or somethign near it which radiates. Conductors will always be hotter then the atmosphere so a wall will always.

Now if the thermometer was placed in the sun it will be hotter then what the forecast is because temp is measured in the shade, but i dont think being in the shade will drop the temperature 10C.

Digital thermometers arent ideal for high temperatures either. there are a multitude reasons why the temperature was 57.
now lets say all of the factors i mentioned were not at fault and the temp was genuinly 57C. It mean the exact position was 5, but the atmospheare was not 57C becasue thats 10C more then spain has ever had. And what matter is the atmospheric temp. So yea its possible your thermometer actully reads 57 but it isnt that hot, the point the thermometer is is 57.

a lesson in thermodynamics.

If you think Spain's hot, try visiting some of the desert countries, lol, now that's hot.

Nigeria regularly hits 35 degrees C and above, most of the year round. It is however, dry heat, and not as humid as other places. Glorious if you ask me.........

A constant 35? That'd be brilliant. I do like the cold weather during winter though.

Then I underestimated how big a hill was, obviously I refused to get off and walk ...


When I tried getting back on the bike I got cramp in both legs and had to walk the last two miles. Got nicely burnt from it too.

well, to your question, i used to. but school takes a lot of time. Anyway next september the bike party will come again ... i will get a new bike my boyfriend´s bike and mines were won in that party and one more XD

That party has a ride for about 27 km i have gone there since i was a little baby! I´m gonna try to get a pic of my first bike party XD
