Whatever way it ends up going, story wise, I'm just glad that there's a subtitle involved. Between "PopNG" and "Pop08" and all the other various and sundry titles, it'll be nice to have something official to type into Google.

Yes, they changed a lot of things. But well, they changed them, they didn't made a new game. I would also like to play the PoP3 which we saw in the trailers first.

Are you really starting this rubbish over again? Kindred Blades is the same as Two Thrones. Things change a lot throughout production and this is why there are somethings missing that were once in a game and why new things are in later versions of games.

Nowadays I wont beg for a return of the SOTT Prince, it's not a necessary thing. Perhaps somewhere in the future, in a very distant future

For now I'll have to content myself with what Ubisofts cooking up, there are millions of possible stories for the POP Universe, many of them much better than the SOTT if done in the right manner. This doesnt aply to POP:NG (obviously )

Nonetheless with SC it jumped from a possible bad game into a mediocre one.

I just love it when people debates on something quite significant... Brings out the best said words... As for me, I'd really love to see a sequel for last year's Prince of Persia, I would'nt want to have that game left without a sequel... It's gonna leave the game scarred for a long time if it happens....

It was mentioned before that Jordan mechner filed trademark for a new Prince Of Persia game and also Marc-Antoine from ubi said he was working on a new pop......

According to Wired Magzine Jordan mechner did say that " UBI is working on something that I’m excited about. " and saying that he expects an announcement in a few months about the future of the Prince of Persia game series.

So its partially official now!!!!!!!!!! yahoooooooo

God i hope they don't make sequel to pop:2008!!

Woah...this is interesting.
Frankly I didn't like POP 08. It lacked so many things. The SOT trilogy was fantastic on the other hand, and if they wanna make something good out of it, I'd be more than happy to give it another go as long as the story, characters, gameplay are of the same, or higher caliber than the predecessor.

Besides, there's always a loophole from which they can build another story from SOT. They just have to find it and exploit it in a good way. For all we know, POP 08 just might have been a testbed for something else.
