....but i think the prince IS ormazd. now, im usually the kind of guy who just lets the story develope as it happens, but bear with me here.

after playing through the epilogue again, there are times where he does things he shouldnt be able to. He slaps a plate, and it starts working again, and elika "gets her power from the temple.... the temple is gone.... 'he is scared of you, elika'"

basically, i think that when Ahriman betrayed Ormazd, Ormazd sealed Ahriman, but lost his own memory, and was forced to live with the mortals.

this would explain why ormazd hasnt been seen in thousands of years, and would also explain why elika retains her powers after the temple is gone (ormazd, AKA the prince, beleives in her, so she has his powers, and he 'knows' he cant do it, therefore, he cant.)

reasons why this would work:
the Prince "has the abilities to be more than he is"
the Prince is capable of activating the last plates.
other than his parents were killed, we know nothing about his past.
his luck doing bad things (grave robbing) has never been great (which would make sense, a good god not getting away with bad things)

why this wouldnt be the case:
he had parents.
he is still rogue-ish, with a taste for wealth.
he laughs at the idea of ahriman in the begining.

any thoughts?

Sounds a bit cliche, but it could work well

not a bad theory, could work nicely. if the next game is being made (that ds title doesn't count) and they haven't thought of a story yet, then you've just given them an good idea lol.

I think Ahriman and Ohrmazd are actually the same being, there's some kind of duality here and the story would be much better this way around (imo), instead of existing two different entities. The real enemy here is the Corruption matter that has the power of breaking even the most powerful of gods.

At least that's what I thought right from the beginning of these series.

ok its a good theory very cliche but still a nice one
at first i thought Elika was Ormazd but then i remember he was a guy so that kinda shot it down but it could be that after Ormazd lost his powers or something he took a human form to rest in and it ended up being Elika
yes she was born Normaly but hes a God he can you know inhabit her soul and all

you know for all we know it could end up being Farah the princes donkey
now that would be funny

but if the Prince does end up being Ormaxd its just another mistake for UBI to make such a cliche plot
i loved SOT but to me WW and T2T were so bad the gameplay was good but the stories were awful IMO
and if your theory does end up being right then wow man you hit it on the head
