Grudge 2

That movie has basically the same story as the first except that the ghosts follow the people having entered in the house & attack everyone near that person.
The main actors in that movie tried to find out a way to get rid of her.At first I thought they'd manage to but their exorcist was unenthusiastic and died herself.
In the beginning there was a school girl entering the house. The first reaction was: "She's blond..." No wonder why she convinced her two friends to follow her.Eventually everyone died in the same way.Not even the ghost was original in her killing techniques.

A pathetic 4.9 out of 10

I really cannot understand all the fuss about Casino Royale.
I am a huge James Bond fan, collect the movies for years and I think Casino Royale AND Daniel Craig are simply awful!
Daniel Craig is nowhere James Bond. mybe xXx or some other action hero, but this is no Bond. yes the movie starts pretty cool and the action is awesome, but Daniel??? come ON! he really did his best, it just is not even close to be good enough. In my opinion not even George Lazenby was so bad. Pierce, Sean, Roger and even Timothy probably laugh their asses off.
and even if this movie was not a Bond movie it would suck big time. the plot is bad, the storytelling is bad, the movie is way too long and so on.
As for me, my collection of Bond movies ended with "Die Another Day".

The Prestige

There are certain movies you know they are going to be top notch before even watching them, Gladiator, LOTR, Rush Hour etc

I had a similar feeling about The Prestige and I wasn't let down. The story revolves around 2 magicians and how they fall out and become enemies. They then continue to try and sabotage each others shows and tricks at every opportunity. If one invents a new trick the other tries to steal his secret and make an even better one. This goes on back and forth throughout the film. The main cast are Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman, supported by Michael Caine and Scarlett Johansson.

As I mentioned earlier they are enemies but the film starts with Jackman 'accidentally' being drowned to death during one of his shows. As it happens to be Bale is at the murder scene (below stage) and is arrested. This isn't a spoiler the film opens with this scene. The the rest of the film is 'flashbacks' while Bale goes from jail to the courthouse trying to prove his innocence.

One of the best (unpredictable) endings I've seen for a long time.

Watch this film NOW!

9.3/10

Die Another Day sucked so hard it's not funny.

Well, I saw the new Bond on the day it came out. First half was great! Sure, it's completely different to any other Bond that's graced our screens, but the change is for the best. You really get the message that Bond's not a machine, he's a man.

The second half.. mainly dialouge. I was beginning to feel a bit bored (Pringles are life savers at these scenes Razz) but the action scene at the end just left me wanting more.

Still, a great Bond and a great film, best thing I've seen this year Big Grin

8.8/10

That coming from you, I'd suspect that "The Descent" is some horror-p0rn-movie.

Cool
I wonder if they'll put up 4 cut fingers to indicate that it's the 4th movie or if they'll put 1 normal cut finger and two cut fingers forming a "V"...
