@James: I'm actually a little disappointed with the ending fight. Definitely harder on crushing. I got to the third stage many times only to get killed. Sometimes it's difficult to to see him too so a few times I ran into him. The mechanics for the last fight were the same too. The first you at least had variation in enemies. What would have been better in this one imo is some vertical climbing and puzzles like blowing up some sap to cause a rock slide etc. I kind of wish Schafer was the master mind or he used the sap to heal himself (I actually thought Drake was going to use it to heal Elena ala Indiana Jones, with no side power hungry side effects). Maybe then we would have to fight Schafer and defeat him like a mercy kill as he utters his last words to stop Lazaro. Or maybe fight Flynn after he heals himself with the sap. I don't know, Flynn felt like a tool. Though I guess he did play his role. Did you find all the treasure? We should play some co-op

@John: I haven't gone on the road again, just that once after building the bus. I just have lots of light tributes Oh, so the baby carriages are more RTS than during the driving segments? So I guess I haven't been introduced yet. I'm sure I will once I fire up the game and continue with the story.

ooohh... they first show up in the jungle i believe... if you've gotten there that is. and nah, they're not just in the rts. they're throughout the rest of the game.

Are they the crib like things scatter across the land in Bladehenge? Just got to the Jungle, liking those amazons This game is pretty epic already in terms of story. I'm sure metal fans appreciate it even more then I am Alas, I need to get to bed. Hopefully more play time tomorrow.

my Final Fantasy IV has arived! yay! (I love it)

YAY! Aren't the cut scenes nice? I like the voice acting as well.

the FM cutscenes are nice, but they are compressed so the sound and picture quality could've been better
graphics are also weak compared to games like Phantom Hourglass but still look pretty nice for a DS game. I just dislike certain animation such as walking... Nevertheless, it's simply awesome. It's like a dream that came true. A game with an exceptionally strong and interesting story, believable characters and unforgettable moments. The musical score is simply genius, voice acting is some of the best I've heard (which is quite an achievement for a japanese game) and the gameplay.... well, let's say it's hardcore enough to live up to it's SNES version. That means there's a lot of grinding to be done, but the combat is so varied and entertaining that the grinding is not really an issue. By the way, cartoony graphics and a serious story make quite an interesting contrast...

Anyone looking forward to Forza 3? I wasn't really a fan of F2, but this one is so spot on, feels exactly like driving a real car, and it even has my car, so I'm really tempted to buy it. 400 cars....drool.

Uncharted 2 Spoilers ahead

@Yolk: I'm also disappointed, but I still found it more fun than Uncharted 1's boss battle. Which wasn't really a battle between you and the boss, so much as you and all of his hardcore cronies. I've heard a lot of people say that Crushing difficulty isn't much of a challenge if you can cope with Hard, but I can think of a few times where I was on the verge of dying in Hard mode. They're gonna be challenging.
Yeah, I've heard from a lot of people who didn't figure out what to do for a long time, I don't understand how they missed it. It was blindingly obvious what to do I found that collapsing bridge scene after Lazarovic to be a lot harder than the boss. Mainly because I was feeling awesome instead of worrying about dying! Think I died four or five times on that bridge part.
When Lazarovic collapsed on the side of the amber pool I was just expecting that to be the end of the first section of the fight; for it to go on for a good length of time still, but no. The boss fight room was absolutely amazing, though. Beautiful.

If Schafer was the bad guy I wouldn't like it so much. It'd be an amazing twist that would probably catch everybody off guard (although I was suspicious when he sent Nate into the mountains with Tenzin) but I'm still glad it went the way it did. It was quite a predictable story for the most part, but the details made it quirky enough to stand out.I was also waiting for Nate to heal Elena with some sap, but, again, I'm glad that didn't happen. It'd either have been a cheese overload or a great Indy reference.
Flynn wasa cool character, not hard to spot him as a bad guy from the start though. It always seems to be the English bloke. I like what he added to the story, they had his involvement with the story down perfectly, in my opinion. I really hated him throughout most of the game, then for a second I liked him, then hated him all over again!
Man there's a lot of treasure, no way did I find it all first time. I still haven't found it all on my second playthrough. It's really bloody hidden this time! We should definitely play co-op sometime man, just gotta find a few consecutive hours free time. I've heard it's quite difficult.

@James: I just don't like running and gunning backwards I guess I agree though that a 1 on 1 fight for the second was a better fit, just didn't like how you used the same mechanics to beat him. If you beat the original on Crushing it is definitely easier. Those open spaces in the first were brutal, the sewer system and church courtyard come to mind.
It was blatantly obvious to me too. Nate even mentions it in dialogue and you have to reveal the staircase behind the vines/roots, not to mention in the cutscene leading up to the battle.
I didn't think it would continue after his collapse. I was hoping Lazarovic would consume some more firey sap and we'd have to face some sort of fire element to the mix. Alas, it wasn't meant to be. The bridge felt like a piece of cake after the boss battle. I died once or twice cause a didn't jump to the right places the first time around.

The SS being there is definitely a connection between the first though. I'm thinking they will be showing up in sequels. Schafer did play his role though, would be similar to the first Uncharted I guess so maybe it was better not to have him as the villain. Yeah, glad they didn't use the sap to heal anyone.

Yeah, I was sad Flynn was going to die, but once he hurt my girl I didn't care
OMG it was insane. I had about 70 found on my first play through. The majority of the rest were up high that you had to shoot down. I tell you, very very difficult cause they sometimes blend right in. I hope they release DLC co-op, I'd pay for it.

Which I found out earlier today (now yesterday cause my internet was down). The game is so short, I want more I thought that would be 2/3 of the way through since we find out about Eddie's past. I only have 1/3 of the trophies too. I guess I should read their description. Have one final secondary mission which happens to be the hunter record one. Then it's off to find all the relics and statues. I wish there was a way to tell at least the general area where I'm missing a few. This may take a while

unfortunately, i had to go through and check off everyone i've done. and so far i've only done the bottom yellow region. lol... as for the secondary missions, i've got quite a few left actually. but they're mainly the rack ones and the mortar firing ones. the rack ones kinda ticked me off though.

I think I'm 45% now? I'm looking for one last view finder *ugh* and then I'm going to do my serpent round. Found all the Forges and Buried Metal. The mortars aren't that bad. It's when they get too close and your army has been wiped out is when it gets annoying since you can't use your weapons. For the Rack I recommend the homing missile for the Deuce, easiest of the secondary missions. I finished all secondary including the hunter ones. Wasn't a big fan since I killed all those animals before and then had to do them again. Still need that Quill one but don't spawn the little buggers. A shame we can't choose what to spawn.

Thanks for the site, I'll take a look next time I fire up the game. Just need 100% on the game, don't think I'm going to go for the mp trophies. I wish they did it like Uncharted 2's MP trophies where you just have to complete a round/session.

Speaking of PS3 though, you hear about Netflix coming aboard? I don't know how the video store will react. There stuff is pricey to begin with. And you did pick up that free Naruto episode on the PSN right? Can you tell the difference between the uncut version and the broadcast one?

i haven't been on ps3 for a few days actually. will have to check later. i'm assuming it's the first episode of shippuden? they had that as a free itunes download and i got that one. lol... time for another one, but on the ps3. lol... anyway, the reason i haven't been on ps3 for a few days is because i've been playing DOAX again... got addicted... again.

lol, yeah, i've looked, but all say general ideas for doing, but also say there's never a guarantee. so i just gotta load up on venus suits and "love" items, and hope she takes it eventually... problem is, the venus costs 1,000,000... so on a good game, i can only buy 1 per vacation (14 in-game days). so i'm gonna load up on all that stuff, then tackle it when i think i got enough to give it an honest effort.
