So usually before class I'll play My Japanese Coach just to get some extra practice in and it actually helps. Anyone tried the My Language series?

WTF is going on here Shady

Does the NGS2 have any spoilers I should be aware of from the first game?

most likely. i haven't played NG2... my friend has doug (the one you met) has it though. i haven't really asked what happens though. anyway, if i were you, i would definitely spend some time with the first one. and pick up the ds one too since the other girl in the game is key to the ds version (though i'm sure it's not totally necessary, but it helps). i think if you give the first game a little more time than you did when i went to pick up pizza, you might enjoy it a bit more. @John & Yolky: I never got round to playing anything of Sigma apart from the demo on PSN. It seemed fun. Played it once and died at the boss.
Is the game difficulty mainly in the combat? Is it all fighting or are there difficult puzzles too?

It seems to be a rare thing for a game to really make you think, these days Shady

Agreed. I'm a big proponent of puzzles in games. I still get a warm fuzzy feeling doing the Hall of Learning mirror puzzle from PoP. Braid is the only recent game I can think of devoted to puzzles.

I guess developers don't want to spent the time concocting puzzles, throwing waves of enemy fodder at you is easier to produce. Frown

Agreed about Puzzles discussion, These days Game have less puzzles and further those puzzles are easy to solve. I remember Games like Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine where sometimes two brain needed instead of one to solve a puzzle.

The reason is maybe because the World is growing so fast. People are busy and they have less time to solve such complex Puzzles, They want to enjoy whatever little time they get.

Well that's not completely true. Casual games are coming into their own, and tend to be pretty puzzle-centric. The problem is casual games tend to be 99% gameplay and 1% story, assuming there even is one.
