... and i was thinking about going into video game creation. do you guys want to hear my ideas, help me work on them, give me feedback, all without credit or pay?

well, i have how i want them to play, and i have a few details picked out in the backround, but other than that....

ok, the main one i need help with:

Bruno, the God of Light (title is not fixed)

basically it plays like Devil May Cry, but your the guy trying to stay away from everyone, rather than the guy with the sword. your a kid who discovers that, somehow, you gain the powers of the sun (light and heat) and you regain your energy/mana by being in direct sunlight. i want it to be like gods vs other gods (so one boss might be like Anubis from the egyption mythology, and then maybe Zues as another boss), and somehow tie it in that your also supposed to be Apollo.

basically, i know kinda how i want it to play/look, but not what i want it to do.... any suggestions?

oh, and im trying to help my family shingle our roof, so i dont have much time to explain things well, but i hope i did a good job

Call it maybe ''Mithras'' or something, something which gives a good association and theme which fits to the game.

I am also interested into doing a game and I have already a huge concept for it. If people like too, I am also open to tell.

The overal idea is nice, although there are a few things that bug me, personally.


First, his name. Bruno? Not working for a videogame character.
Then, if you want it to play like Devil May Cry, don't overdo it with the RPG elements.

i took a quiz on facebook and it named me "bruno, god of light"

Bruno is not that catchy, but you can always try out ana anagram like:
Bornu, Nrobu, Ronub or something like that.
Even more interesting could be an anagram for Apollo

Or a fusion of Bruno with Apollo.

But the all idea looks nice

ok, now that i have more time:

bruno was just a placeholder name, as i said that facebook called me that, so i just rolled with it. i will take other ideas, im not fixed on it.

as for the RPG element, i wasnt planning on too much of one anyway, more of just saying (as an example) you have 5 powers with 5 tiers of level up each, and you will eventually get them all, but you can only afford so much at certain intervals.

and the SunLight thing: lets say you have 100 points of energy. you will regain 0Eps (energy per second) outside of light, 5 EPS in a shadow, but 10EPS in sunlight. and then you get a move called "Nova" where you either A) gain a massive amount of EPS, or B) your powers dont cost anything, idk which.

any name suggestions, or story arc suggestions will be helpfull, thank you
