Anyone ever dreamed of flying?

That is so true!

A few years ago, my younger sister got The Little Mermaid 2, and she watched it about 30 times in one day.
(I have no idea why but i actually watched it most of those times...)

And that night I had a dream that everyone in my family (including me) were turning into mermaids!

And the scariest thing is... I liked it Indifferent

And I had a dream of flying once, it was so fun!

That happened to me Big Grin Its seriously great, cause you can remember the dream much more clearly. I want another one.. Razz

another thing that was weird once. When I was dreaming, I knew that I was dreaming, and my mind kinda tried to control it. But it wouldnt let me. So I went along with the dream while knowing that I was dreaming.
I confused myself Big Grin

Well...a question...should we care about what we dream about... coz if yes....then I reckon...I might....better... do somthing with myself. My dreams are rather disturbing in some ways....a pleasant way I might add Demonic.... heh Cant help it.... Big Grin

Once before i was sleeping and dreaming of....what was i dreaming that damn morning?! well anyway i was dreaming and i woke up, i completely remembered the dream at the time. Then instead of getting out of bed. I forced myself back to half sleep. I was asleep but i could hear anything that was happening in real life. It would affect the dream. It was....interesting.

Im at the top of the stairs at my old house, for some reason i am compelled to jump. I feel i am trapped inside my body. My body jumps but i didnt want too, i am falling in slow motion down the stairs and im filled with fear, before i touch the bottom of the stairs i wake up-bleeding all over.
Lol the last bit was fake but i wake up heck scared it was soo annoying that dream but now i am older i dunno i feel like i want it again because ive always wanted to jump down the stairs in real life to feel what its like but i never would partly because of how exhilerated i started to feel after continually having that dream. Hopefully ill have it again soon tho Big Grin lol

I had a similar dream like that.
Its when I was younger, just at the tops of the stairs, and take 'the leap of faith'. Then I get that feeling that you get in your stomach when on a rollercoaster or something. But the feeling is a lot stronger, and kinda uncomfortable. Then when Im a little way down, everything just fast-forwards. I used to get that dream on regular occasions, but a little bit different each time.
Weird Big Grin

in the last few days, weeks and months I canâ´t remember my dreams, but there are two things I remember from older dreams (like 5 years ago I guess)...

1. Itâ´s just one scene, but it was the scene where I woke up scared as hell...

itâ´s a scene like one of those Alice in Wonderland cartoons in TV and Iâ´m walking. After some time thereâ´s a small river with a small bridge made of wood (it was so small that only one person at a time can walk over). Even before doing my first step suddenly a one-eyed white cat jumps out of the river onto the bridge and then attacks me and there I woke up...

2. about 5 years ago I had one of those alarm clocks which play the radio instead of that annoying beep...

so I am walking down the street and suddenly there is music...it was like a movie scene...I was walking down the street with some music in the background..then the street started fading and I woke up in my bed and realized that it was just my clock and after looking a second time I saw that I was late. Thatâ´s the story of the day where I didnâ´t go to school because I slept too long Razz

Yeah it's funky how your senses weave their informations in your dream or how they fade in while awakening. Sometimes your consciousness is "awake" before your hearing and you can actually perceive how the surrounding sound fades in.

On the other hand it's amazing how your brain filters sounds out. At one time during my compulsory military year we were waiting for the transport trucks and I fell asleep with my head resting on a table. My brain totally filtered out the loud environment and ignored the shouts of our drilling sergeant when he entered the room and found me dozing around.

I was told he cried around a minute or so with no obvious reaction from my side - only when one of my fellow recruits whispered to my ear I suddenly woke up and stood straight in one move Veryhappy

So the sergeant's shouting was received as part of the background noise while the short whisper was perceived as an unusual sound alerting myself instantly.

I outsmarted one of my dream/nightmares once! Big Grin

I had this really bad dream/nightmare once. I can't remember what it was about but it was so bad I refused to believe it was happening. I eventually figured out I never woke up that morning, so it must be a dream. The moment I thought that I woke up.

True. But I think when I realized I was dreaming, I was so disappointed that it wasn't real that I just woke up.

Every time I hear "lucid dreaming" I think of that Vanilla Sky movie lol.

Yeah I dreamed a monster was chasing me and then in my dream I realised that wasent possible so I turned around to face it and the floor below the monster caved in and it fell through the floor. Then I just woke up.

Once I had a really weird dream... all of my classmates were there and they seemed to be Splinter Cells in training and I was their teacher, but the life insuarance man from Groundhog Day and Howard Brown were there too. I remembered the dream clearly... must have been a lucid dream or something, because someone who looked like a beefier version of Ronald Weasley kept coming out of me but I fought him off... very strange dream. I remember seeing Groundhog day and I'd only just got Chaos Theory, but I don't know where Howard Brown or Harry Potter came from...

I dreamt my dad sent me an e-mail displaying every Holiday location I could go to next year. It had about EVERY place on Earth Listed, except the place I really WANT to go to.

I looked all over the list, several times, but it wasn't there, and my dad was just standing there, looking and Grinning.

I need to talk to that man.

It was the scariest dream of my life.
Except the one with Ib and the Vietnamese Peasants, perhaps.
Although that HAD a happy ending.
