Okay, that's the news of the day. He's no Prince, no mysterious wanderer, he's a lowsy thief.

I have the feeling that name is just a name to be able to select that character in that game... I dont really think thats his real name.

Like prince dastan in pop movie, does it means that the real prince from the games has that name? no.

I must hear that name in the POP game to believe it. Until them, for me that isnt his name. Its just a name they gave him for this game.

In spanish calling a person thief doesnt sound very well. I dont know what you think, but for me thats not a name.

PD: That is on the spanish site too, but as "ladrón" which means the same. An insult for me, at least.

Well yes. He is a thief. I thought this was clear from the beginning? Must be clear since the time ubisoft said, that the prince is a thief.

But it isn't said that the prince isn't royal.

and i have to agree with kaileena here, thief isnt a name, its a title. its probably going to be like the last series, (and while i never played WW, i cant say this with complete accuracy) we never heard his name in that series, we probly wont in this.

my money is on theif sticking around until elika learns he is an actual prince, at which point elika says something like what he did "theres no prince here.... your a prince?!"

You guys make me look like a monster just because I told you of his official title

Anyway, I'll call him from that point on Thief. Because we don't know if he's a Prince or not. WHo knows, maybe Ubisoft take the classical Mechner route and he'll mary Elika to become a Prince... we shall see.

It's kinda funny he's Thief but in the game he doesn't do anything to "earn" the title. Apart from telling some stories... Gameplay wise (or even during the game timeline) he didn't do anything

True. Going by what he tells Elika and how he tells it, it sounds like he just sneaks into long-sealed tombs, robs the dead of their useless belongings and sneaks back out. It's not like he robs orphans or snaps people's necks in the night.

Anyway, what's the difference between soccer and football?
I always tought it was the same thing and that, well, people from around the globe liked to call different names to the same sport

Americans call football soccer because they have a sport called football which is like a scaled down version of Rugby. Its been a lifelong argument in which Europeans call Americans stupid because they stole a name for a sport which doesn't even use their feet except for one kick every once in a while. ( I use lifelong argument loosely ) and it is pretty much like you said just a different name for the same sport.
