ADVISORY
Rumors have popped up that the new Prince of Persia game is called "Heir Apparent."
This is not the case! The origin of the mistake is in the title of the Game Informer
article on Prince of Persia called Heir Apparent.

Just to clarify: The Heir Apparent is the name of the article, and it is NOT the name
of the new game.

No name has officially been announced.

On a trusted romanian site, they announced that the new PoP game will be called 'Heir Apparent'. So I explained long and nicely and quoted BB, so that they cancel/delete it. ^.^

As theventure pointed out, we did run the Heir Apparent story, but we've since updated it with the new info, thanks to venture's heads-up.

I also informed the other major sites that have run the story (ActionTrip, Kotaku, VideoGaming247, GameTrailers, Play.tm) about this little... snag.

Sorry for spreading confusion amongst the general population

Hi BossmanCG,

To be honest, it all stemmed from the Game Informer article which listed it as "Prince of Persia: Heir Apparent" and most sites picked up on that because GI is trusted in their news and reviews.

Don't beat yourself up over things like this. We just wanted people to focus more on the game, art style and the possibilities of a new Prince of Persia game, not just on a suffix which people are unhappy with.

Sometimes gamers can get too wrapped up in the silly little details that they miss the whole game. And we want people to see and love Prince of Persia.

The prince only interacted with the princess at level 15. You only see scenes of her and Rugnor interspersed through the game.

The "state of the art" of her animation was tolerable ... not noteworthy.

glad to hear that Ubi finds a satisfying way to continue PoP series finally. the new style looked awesome. i wish they could find a way to take full advantage of PC control scheme, mouse/keyboard, this time. PoP sot series had a quite good control, but not good enough. hope this time will be better.

can't wait to read more about it!

ps: the new forum color is...kind too shiny...it hurts my eyes... like the previous one, the red one better...
