What does the year they register matter? Mine says '08. Besides, does their opinion only matter if they played it the day they came out and registered on the forums immediately?

You should stop trying to take the Internet so seriously....

I really shouldn't try to make sense of Tristan's stupidity. A failing of my own, I guess.

Warrior Within had the best story. ^^

I know it was a bit confusing but this is what I loved about WW.

Seriously, if you don't get it, then leave it.
It hasn't to do with intelligence, btw.

I was actually meaning that the ''08er'', so the guys who registered 2008 and probably are really new to the PoP-scene, actually played the NG and totally think it is the most BEST GAME EVAAA.(Yep,they never played God of War)

I guess that's the reason they always say that WW is **** because it's not like their favourite. They don't grasp what makes WW a good game.

While we,the guys who registered during 2004-2005, love WW as a genre of it's own and an individual approach back to Mechner's old PoP-games.
We lived through the old trilogy and particulary love all 3 games, despite the flaws on the second and third game.

So there, if you still don't get it and think I'm stupid, fine by me, you're not my neighbour.

Warrior within.Sands of time was great but warrior within had a more involving, twisting story. The Two Thrones had too many inconsistencies.

The year of registration has nothing to do with whether they are new to the POP scene or not...

We have had loads of people registering in 2004/2005 who played Sands of Time, and lots of people registering in subsequent years who played the Trilogy and the NG.

I registered the same year Sands of Time came out, but my first post was in the Splinter Cell forums - it was only a weeks later I came to this forum.

(freakishly, skullshawk & unclejimbo were mods).

I need to get out more Sad

It's kinda hard to choose- SoT and WW had the mood- just somethin ('Je ne sais quoi')
Two different moods, but- strong
TTT- sloppy spin-off- great CGI and maybe DLC- but not an independant game...

I use to think there was a Light in the end of the tunnel... turns out there's a tunnel in the end of the light.

Sands of Time - Straightforward, clever, understandable and believable. Also quite unique.

Warrior Within - complicated for the sake of complicated do not a great story make. YES, I understood the plot, but the plot was stupid. Yes, there were twists, but that doesn't mean crap! It just means that there were twists. Quality is completely unrelated, and, unfortunately, the Warrior Within storyline did not scream quality. Just like an M. Night Shyamalan movie or the Pirates of the Caribbean Sequels.

The Two Thrones - A rehash of the Sands of Time. Retelling the same story isn't uncommon; a unique take on the same thing is often, strangely enough, a breath of fresh air. However, in the same franchise and the same stretch of story...what was the point? The story of T2T was terrible. Sorry, but it was AWFUL. There were no redeeming qualities; it was predictable and seemed to be written to serve the fans, and the fans alone. There was no creative integrity whatsoever, and that I just don't respect in the least. The game was sorta fun, though...I guess.
