Darkfarah: I loved Soul Eater u to episode 30. The story is great and action is sweet, but I loved it mainly for the humor aspect. It was one of the best comedies I've known, just got too serious after episode 30. Still watch it though, it's pretty great and the first opening is coolness

Soul Eater is super awesome, the ending was uber lame though

And my birthday is 20th July, 1988

And cheer up Kew, at least I kept them ^^ (mainly since I suck at doing them, but still)


@Romeo: Yup, Greece was awesome, and they have the best food I've eaten so far ^^ and the people are really nice, also it helps if you know the language (my Greek sucks though, lol)
Shawarma and Gyros (and Doner Kebab for that matter) are the same thing, just different names in different countries, it originated in Turkey if I'm not mistaken.

Wow, so many failed? O_o but at least it makes passing the courses so much more sweet, especially if you got a really high mark ^^. 60 points, eh? I did 58 this year, will have to do 70 next year, but the one after I'll have lotta free time, only 52 points ^^ (plus the bonus points I got from Japanese and Greek classes), should be quite busy next year, yaaay xD but at least I passed with good marks ^^ (some are uber great ^^)

@michelle: you should defenantly watch soul eater! it's as good as a comedy, as it is a story with great depth and secrecy... i'm sure you'll like it :3

oke people, i decided i want to give a review on some anime's of the new season and such... give a short description, and tell something about the producers and the art studio etc... only... i've already been up since 5am, and it's nog 23:49 pm.... and i need my sleep X.x

i had to get out early cause there was "patchmarket" here in the city, which means loads of fabric for huge discounts... and abunai (dutch anime convention) is only 5 weeks away... so i need to work on my cosplay... and i bought some great red feeding fabric, that i'm gonna use for the inside of my coat that i'm gonna make, and i got this so damn awesome dark blue leatherish fabric which i'm gonna use for the outside of the jacket/coat... it's gonna be so cewl ^___^ you'll see the results when they get there

Always wanted to get into Soul Eater. How is it? What's the plot?

Well I just got through watching episodes 6 and 7 of Canaan so I'll start watching Soul eater while I wait for 8. I don't watch to many comedy animes but I do love them. So this already sounds like a winner to me.

@Swift: Soul Eater is a quite humorous action anime, basically the plot is about weapon meisters, and their weapons, which are basically other humans that can turn into weapon, and their life in the academy, and fighting the demons and witches. (It's much better than how it sounds)


@Romeo: Veggie shawarma? how's that even possible? the main thing about it is the meat O_o

Well, that's good that they failed then, less annoying peeps next year, no? ^^ but I don't get it, I mean, entry exams for medical school are quite rough, no? why bother if they don't wanna learn? O_o
Exactly my views, I study language cause I like it, and as such I pay attention in class, not try to disturb others (like many people in Japanese class do ), anyway glad you also had great marks ^^

Finally finished Vampire Knight Guilty? how'd you like it? ^^ personally I Hated Zero in the end

@Michelle: Happens to me all the time. I intend to watch an episode and a week goes by. Then I have two (or more ) to enjoy in one sitting

Canaan is great! I just started watching it today, I'm up to episode 4

It's one of the best Non-Ghibli Anime Movie I totally enjoyed, mostly because of the fluid animations and the cool fighting scenes.Also, creepy Chinese^^

An interesting thing I noticed about the series is their use of mythology and classic fiction in character-creation process. most of the characters are a kind of parody to some classic counterparts, sharing their name and several features. There is Dr. Franken Stein, Ragnarok, Medusa, Excalibur, Death the Kid (sorta like Billy the Kid, but he's Shinigami-sama's son) and so on.

@Khaled: Well, we are going at a snappy pace right now. Might be over by the end of winter next year.

@Rona: Hopefully #7 will still be standing in case we need to go back there.

@Tristan: Yes, I've seen that movie. It was alright. Worth a watch but probably something I'd wouldn't rewatch though.

@Kanuch: Definitely some parallelism there with their names. I guess it conveys a bit of their personality too for better or worse.

It's not that tricky to tell which ones will be the good ones of the season
But yes, Canaan's awesome so far. Good action, not to mention the awesome animation

There's no Bakemonogatari last week, so I gotta wait until this weekend for the next episode
