I completly agree.
You can also try out Fahrenheit and God of War (or even POP:T2T) they all have awesome QTE Smile

Yeah, that's the one glitch that really bugs the hell out of me. I guess it starts in the main menu, because I really noticed that pitch just before I started to access the Epilogue save. Quite annoying.

i'll usually have it occur after using a plate or something because that's the sound they make. something really needs to be done because you just wanna beat your head into something after hearing it not stop.

I completely agree with both of you, God of War and Resident Evil 4 succeeded in using QTE, they were pretty much just awesome. I'm not so sure I agree with Fahrenheit but there certainly ARE quick time events there as well Smile

Nevertheless, I think people should try to steer away from QTE... At least you can map the actions on the screen consistently to the same action button on the pad. This is done excellently in Dead Space; whenever feces hit the fan you always know what button to press because you see what action you need to perform to get out of the current pickle. THAT should be the system people use, in my opinion.

Wasn't it Shenmue that started the QTE fad?

I thought that the idea was alright, but the boss fights were near impossible and are to repetitive. I didn't think it was worth the money I spent on it. I thought it was one of the worst things that ever came out of the game. Ubisoft should of made the button pushes during the boss fights a little easier to complete. So I pretty much think it sucked and Ubisoft should take it back and rework it and fix all the problems that I thought the DLC contained, but that is just what I think and I won't play it anymore because of how bad it was.

Well Surprizingly, I am finding Epilouge thirlling compared to the retail game so far. The Gameplay is repetitive yet again but its looking a thrilling experience.
