in the opening the narrator says
"the wind is free, but the sand goes where it's blown, unaware of the world around it, whirling on the breath of the Gods, at the mercy of the storm that engulfs it"
could "the wind is free" be a metaphor for the Prince ? I mean he says he travels the world and does whatever he likes
and "the sand goes where it's blown, unaware of the world around it, whirling on the breath of the Gods, at the mercy of the storm that engulfs it" be a metaphor for Elika ? she's the one who's never left her father's kingdom, thus, unaware of the world around it, and whirling on the breath of Ormazd at the mercy of the storm-Ahriman ?
