I hate the way they tell every country to alert the ppl and declare level 5-pandemic or whateva, and now they even said something like "be careful ppl, the virus could combine with other viruses and create mutant viruses" "be sacred"...damn I fell I'm in an Orwell book, they're trying to scare us so that they can control us easier

The fact that every couple of years there is a new "threat" and then the hype settles down after a while and people eventually forget about it makes you think...

I dont think its a stupid complot or a conspiracy, I have my "scientific" reasons to think its not, just to mention one of them, the simple evolution, and the way a virus evolves and mutates, it was simply logical and a matter of time that something like this would happen. I actually think the one of the possible "fall" of humanity will be because of a mutated almost perfected virus.
Now, in here the "authorities" have been speaking all kinds of crap: "we have recieved reports of a decrease on the deaths caused by the virus... so far we have like 17 victims"
That was like one week ago, but also that, it was found that that exact day, 70 people died, but their diagnostics and death register magically dissapeared and the bodies where incinerated inmediately ... Does it sounds familiar? Indeed it does; they are trying to contain massive panic because things could be way worse than how they-the goverment- make them look, I dont know in your countries, but that crap is more than common in here.
So lets not jump to conspiracy theories so fast.

i dont know much about the swine flu, but im just glad its not in my part of the U.S..... nasty stuff, that.

Got to agree with you mostly. Dont know about the fall of humanity thing tho. Pretty sure that humanity isnt going to be extinct because of a virus or something. I think that even if some kind of a disease/virus or whatever happens to evolve so far there are still some people who are going to be immune to it.

Just started watching The Stand. Its kind of about the same thing. Seems to be a pretty good movie so far.

OK here is the thing.Some time ago I saw how the covers of the US edition of Berserk where there is nudity are censored and the ones where there is blood,violence and gore are not.



So it's ok to see body parts,slaughtered demons,blood gushing enviroment,but the nude girl is a serious problem,so serious that they decided to put a parental advisory?

The Mass Effect controversy where according to Fox news the violence is just fine but the sex scenes are the ultimate abomination?
