I am very disappointed with the new Prince of Persia game. It is so easy a noob can beat the game. Here is a list of all the negatives: You can't die, no weopon upgrades, no fighting, same objectives ever level (like Assassins Creed which ending up being boring after a while), no sneaking around and doing quick kill techniques, when you do fight you only fight one enemy and you can beat it with your eyes closed. Why was the game changed from the previous ones. Pince of Persia: The Two Thrones was one of the best games I have ever played. Please don't tell me this is the direction Ubisoft is going to take with upcoming games. I am so dissatisfied that I probably won't buy another Prince of Persia game and I'm sure the people I will talk to won't either. I bought the game today and I already threw it in the garbage.

Prince of Persia Review:
Hi everyone, just coming from having beaten this game a couple hours ago and I can honestly tell you it is amazing. Before I move on let me tell you that I have been playing this series for a long time and am proud of some of the accomplishments I have achieved(IE. killing the dahaka), I am not a newcomer to the series and as the rest of you I knew what I wanted with this game. The direction that ubisoft is headed in is great and could lead to a great trilogy here. There are however some negative points in this game that could drastically effect some peoples' opinions of it. First let me start with graphics. Yes, the game has cell shaded graphics, not a big deal and personally I love them. I've been playing games for about 15 years and at this point I actually like to see something different, as found in PoP. Everyone expects games to have gears of war graphics at this point and if it looks cartoony its automatically a "kid" game. This seems like a silly point of view when every game I can think of that has used this art style has been excellent and enjoyable. The characters look excellent and everything in the game really flows. The scenery and the world that you are in is absolutely beautiful and you will just get sucked in as soon as you start. 5/5 Second I will discuss the gameplay. This is the point where most of my negatives come into play but they arent enough to ruin the experience. First of all, I really dont like the whole purchasing powers thing. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE the addition of Elika and especially the double jump mechanic, Elika has been very well done...its her powers that start to hinder the gameplay. While they may seem fun at first, these powers are very limited as you can only use them when you see a corresponding plate that is accessible. These powers could have been pretty cool if they could be more easily used and not limited to plates. My second gripe is that some of the platforming parts of the game seem a little easy, just navigating the world in general! For the most part you will be able to move through most of the platforming challenges using just one button. I do like the new acrobatic moves however, like running on ceilings and the ways that the "levels" are set up provide a good variety of platforming segments. Third and maybe the thing I liked least about this new entry is the combat. When I go back and look at it now I can confidently say that this game would have been every bit as amazing as the last trilogy if they would have stuck with the old combat. Every fight seems the same and while you do achieve different combos that are available to your disposal only a couple of them seem effective, so you find yourself repeating these same moves. My biggest gripe is the boss battles. EVERY boss battle feels the same EXCEPT for the warrior, in which a whole new strategy is required. Some more variety here would have really improved this game. Overall the gameplay still receives a 3/5 because none of these small problems are enough to ruin the experience for me. Third, the sound. I found the prince to have absolutely awful voice acting, the other characters have very good voice acting. I know that there are people from persian descent in these forums that are getting aggitated because people dont think that the prince sounds like he should, this however is not the problem that I have. The prince is very rude and doesnt present the majestic image that I would expect. His quirky remarks and constant bad attitude on top of his annoying voice turns what could have been a really cool character, into just another video game character. However, as I said before, the rest of the characters have terrific voice acting. Ahriman actually sounds like a god and a powerful figure. Elika has emphasize in what she says and actually has a sense of meaning, shes not just one of those ordinary "sidekicks". A concern I had before the game came out was that the prince's gauntlet would make a very annoying sound when he was sliding down walls, but it sounds excellent. Everything from the bosses eery lines to the common enemies vicious grunts sounds great. Very good sound work here. 4/5 The final point of this game that I will review is the story. The storyline that this game seems to follow is VERY cliche'd. I see it again and again as games with this same story are released, and at first it did not seem like this story would be anywhere close to the epic sands of time story (which was amazing!). The story starts off very slow as the prince has lost his donkey after returning from a previous adventure. He stumbles into a sandstorm, which eventually leads him to Elika's home province. This is where he meets her and his adventure begins. Elika's first impressions of the prince arent very good and she doesnt even seem to care about him, as the story progresses however, they start to grow attached and really care about each other. The story seemed like it was just going to be the same old thing all the way up until the half way mark, here is where it really starts to pick up. The story is crafted so well that it may rival that of SoT, you just have to get through the slow initial start. As you learn more about Elika and her family you find out just how mysterious she actually is and after that things really start going uphill, from the thrilling climax of the first boss fight up to the absolutely breath taking ending. I cannot emphasize enough how pleased I am with this ending. I believe the majority of you will be VERY happy to know that the ending brings back some of that bada** prince from SoT that we all grew to love, rather than this annoying and unlikeable new prince, based on the ending though, this is starting to seem like it is taking a giant step into the right direction. It fills in every hole from the story and then, literally, in the last 5 minutes reveals a twist in the plot and keeps you hungry for the sequel, which there most definately will be one. The story goes above and beyond and fully deserves the 5/5. While this game successfully pleased me as an avid PoP fan, it could have been one of the best in the series if it were not for the gameplay issues and the annoying voice acting of the prince. The one thing that really hurt this game the most was the one on one battles and just the whole combat system in general. There just is not enough action in them for a PoP game, and frankly, they are very repetitive. This game however is not to be ignored and its pros far outweigh its cons. The PoP franchise shows off once again in this very worthy entry into the series. Final score: 4.25/5 Thanks Ubisoft! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Pr1Nc30fP3rs14, |

How can you say its an amazing game? You do the same thing in every location. The game is repetitive and boring. The best thing about the game is Elika because she is so hot.

Hi, here is my review of the new pop.
I have played all the pop games and a have loved ever single one of them. This new pop has lots of good points but also lots of points that need to be worked on. First the graphics, they are new refreshing and beautiful, the only thing that I dislike are the stripes around the characters and if it just looked more like the reality then a drawing it would have looked even better. Game play, the game play of this pop is fun but it is also very easy, it's so easy that it is almost not worth playing trough whit your eyes open if it were not for the gorgeous graphics. I know that ubi wanted to make the game look more like the sand of time but that wasn't an easy game and you got punished for things you did wrong. Its too much like a kids game rather then a mans game, I lover the game play of warrior within because it was satisfying to kill a enemy and to torn them in two and cut there head of in slow-motion, that's also the reason so many people like GOW, its fun to own bad guys, throw some Greek soldiers in there and let us make kebab of them in warrior within style Another thing about it is that its like your playing guitar hero, for example if you what to run on the wall just pres the x and the prince does the rest, there is no need to hold the button and thus you have no connection whit what the prince does just pres the right button at the right time, that makes the game boring after some time, it could have been so much better if ubi made the existing game play better instead of changing it completely. Story, the story of this new pop is great it's almost better than the sands of time story. I love the fact that ubi is using real Persian mythology as a reference and they keep the honour in them. Maybe it would have been nice if the prince was a prince is the beginning as well. They had to made the price a more likable character I know that he was made a jurk so we like elika more but this is prince of Persia and not elika of Persia, as a player its good to like the character your playing, that helps whit the emersion and the prince could have been a more badass person like in warrior within or cratos. Overall this game is good but it cant mach the sands of time series in my opinion, that said it does not mean it can never be better that that, ubi needs to change a couple things and make them look more like the old series. It could be nice to look at pop 3d and give the player the opportunity of have different kind of weapon and change his sword after a while to a forgotten Persian sword that belong to a king for example. Maybe I sound a bit too much negative in my review but I believe that the guys at ubi have the skils to make a pop game that will blow GOW into bits in every aspect. i'm going to admit here that i'm only about half way through the game at this point. i keep reading so much negative talk in these forums that i have to express my opinion. overall, the game is simply amazing. the graphics stand apart from the usual "make everything as real as possible" and really set the tone for the whole game. the environmants are HUGE and very well connected and i'm amazed there are no load times between them. i especially love the transition in the feel of the areas as they become purified. it's a big difference from the dark land and the healed land to the point that you almost don't recognize the paths it took to get you to the fertile grounds after the change has taken place. once the land has been purified the game has a different goal. figuring out how to reach some of the out of the way light seeds is very fun and rewarding.
the characters absolutely make this game. without the constant interaction there would be no story at all. i love the way the prience and elika feed off each other and really engage in worthhile conversation while at the same time find a little time to joke around. think about anytime you're on a long trip, even a serious business trip, there is always time to joke around. it's this "inbetween the real story" chatter that i think really adds personality to the characters. the dialog to me was not cheezy or stupid and at times made me genually laugh out loud. the fighting is a little easy but this game to me is more about the exploration and discovery of the world and less about having to stop every three seconds to dispatch a generic thug of the world. i for one am glad the focus is not on mega combos and lengthy battles. the elika never letting out die is a great way to essentally add in the sands of time power but it's automatic and never runs out. i don't see how this makes the game "too easy" at all. you still have to do the task you failed at over again and even the enemies regain their health to more than they had when you "died". it's a simple time saver and it works perfectly. i guess my only complaint with it would be that there's only one "save me" animation. so in the tradition of a review here are some numbers. Graphics 10 the game is gorgeous and in action it's even better than you can imagine. sound 9 the music is perfect and almost fits to the point where you don't even notice it. gameplay 10 exploring this world is a pure joy and the animation is spot on. story 9 the story may not be a unique completely original tale but when's the last time you read one of those? it's not the story but the delivery of the story that earns a 9 here. overall 10 everything fits together perfectly and creates a complete adventure worthy od several playthroughs. go enjoy this game for what it is, a completely new game that just so happens to share a name with a previously sucessful title. the two are not the same and should not be compaired in any way. |

The bad:
The dialogue - Those who complained about it in the preview vids had a right to, it's not great. However, it's not awful. I didn't find the Prince's Americanized bravado unfitting, for only an adventuring lunatic would willingly jump into a war against a god. However, I found some of the dialogue exchanges had some cheese, and more than a few didn't make sense (i.e. Prince would say something, Elika would say something different, they weren't really conversing with each other). Also, a lot of it was just needlessly extended observations on the current area. We get it, Elika lives here. She doesn't need a sermon for every area. And please, stop saying "Fertile Grounds" so much. We get it, they're fertile. They're grounds. Mix it up with "healing spot" or something. The combat - While there were many complaints that the fighting was OMG TOO SHORT ONLY LIEK ONE BADGUY NO ....no. There are little intermittent jousts, but the boss battles aren't one-shots. They are long, intense, and take serious work. I grew more than a little frustrated with the constant quicktime events that happen in each boss battle, because you can't avoid them, just lose or succeed. The lack of control - Speaking from a Sands of Time "purist" perspective, I was disappointed that the controls were actually less work than before. Prince automatically does his wallruns and things with a simple jump, so in an extended sequence I might push A a handfull of times and Prince will fly across an area with little help from me. I wish I were more involved. Plus it was cruel to map the drop/gripfall to a shoulder button when I'm so accustomed to that same button instigating wallruns on the Old Prince. Cue many-a death plummet. The Good: The environments - Holy hell these things are stunning. It doesn't go quite the Zelda gambit of desert-mountain-grassland, et cetera. But this Tree of Life Temple has some serious acreage with really fantastic areas. I liked the vistas and puzzles in the Vale and the sheer verticality of the Royal Palace. The platforming - My biggest point of gauging a Prince of Persia game, and I was quite satisfied. Working around the areas from corrupted to healed state was pretty unique, then bounding around picking up light seeds was very enjoyable. It started off a chore (because frankly I wanted to win that swag in the other thread) but none of the seeds are so impossibly buried in the level design that I couldn't find them. There were tricky spots every now and then, but I relished in the challenge. The music - I'm listening to the soundtrack as I write this. Warm fuzzy Persian vibes. A solid mix of lighthearted tunes for the healed areas, darker music for the corruption and boss battles, and nice upbeat music for urgent moments. Classic Inon Zur magic. Elika - Loved her. She was a solid heroine, and kept on truckin'. I abused the crap out of that conversation button to talk to her. ----- Overall I enjoyed it. Especially enough to get every light seed in the game. I was a bit baffled by the ending, just means I'll have to play it again. - Ren My Gallery | Gamertag/PSN ID: fahRENheit2001 "Fans are clingy, complaining dip****s who will never, ever be grateful for any concession you make. 1 to 10 rating system
9.5 - Graphics looks amazing, especially after you healed the world. 9- Sounds good also, I like how the dramatic music kicks in when a great scene is about to happen. 8- Gameplay - Best plat former I have played in a great while. Excellent battle system, the duels fights were the way to go, it made me feel like I was really in the fight myself and apart of the experience. It does have some flaws though, the fact is, since the prince cant die, even when elika is down makes it kind of cheap sometimes. But I do enjoy the helping hand when plat forming though 10- story - Magnificent, The story itself made me want to be in the prince shoes. The feeling I had when I played sands of time came back in this game. By far I think this is the best Prince of Persia game, gameplay, story, sound, graphics was excellent. I have played all the other titles, I'm glad ubisoft decided to end sands of time and start fresh with a new story , open world was fun. I just beat the game and I am playing it over again right now lol. oh an Elika was amazing. I hope the challenge in the next game goes up a step though. Just don't make it ridiculously hard Ubisoft Montreal.I know you guys like hear what the gamers have to say. |

MY 2-CENTS
The Prince: Acts like he's 12, annoying with cringe-worthy lines. Platforming: Feels like a world made out of five or six interactable 'lego pieces' each corresponding to a button press, there is barely anything new after the first 1/2 hour of the game. I think more exploration and adventure elements would have benefitted the open world approach. The action packed set pieces towards the end of the worlds are well done (The Vale). I wish there was more route-finding and some thinking involved in the navigation as well as many more interactable objects.(Ropes, ladders, water, different looking objects, what are the rings for?). The Prince could be animated better, by having multiple jump and landing animations like in Uncharted. Environments: Whilst looking good, there is little interaction apart from with the 'lego pieces' and there is no sense of vertigo with everything being a mile above the ground. Also not being able to drop to the ground is limitting and ignoring the backgrounds, it looks like a playground or an obstacle course. It would have been fantastic if they were made like the concept art on the disc. Part of the appeal of The Sands of Time was seeing The Prince do extroadinary things in an ordinary looking environment. Combat: Good idea for just duels. The Prince seems limited in his acrobatics from previous games though, particularly his dodging (No back-flips), unless Elika is involved and then it turns into something from an Asian Kung-Fu film, with them flying about while the enemy lets themselves be decimated. If you choose not to fly around, combat is extremely boring, with the same quick-time events happening every second, mostly one after another. [Would have benefitted from more complete control of the character, such as dodging a quick-time event or seeing what happens when when you press the wrong button,ie: using your sword when someone is jumping on you, and different outcomes based on the timing of your button press. The Concubine, The Warrior, and Elika's Father (Final) were pretty terrible as it consisted with me hammering a button for minutes. I didn't like needing to get close in to attack, when once a combo has started he can leap in. Also better environment intereaction, like in previous games, a puzzle solving elements to the combat would have benefitted. Enemies: Loved the interaction with them outside of combat, particularly The Concubine and the conumdrum involved at the end. End boss was different and exciting. Puzzles: Pretty good, decent diffultly whilst still being accessible. Need more though, maybe some that aren't so mechanical, and more that involved acrobatics. Powers: Pretty much all the same, would have liked them to be less superman-like and maybe some intergration with the puzzles. Braid-like time puzzles? Graphics: The Landscapes look great, but the outlines on the characters and individual grass blades and leaves leave them looking like they've been badly photoshopped on. I miss the Sand of Time, lighting, focus and glow effects as well as the strong colours, everything looks pastel (Great final warrior fight lighting though). Music: While there didn't seem to be much variety, I never minded-great job. Story: Pretty Good, didn't like how the flash-backs were done, nor The Prince having a character arc as he matures for each area of the world then reverting back at the start of the next. I wouldn't have minded a more constrained experience (still open world) to benefit the middle of the story. The on demand dialogue is great but still is hindered by rollercoaster maturity by The Prince. Liked the micro stories that benefitted gameplay like The Prince swallowing corruption and The Concubine's illusions. Overall: While the bite sized, repetitive guided levels, clashing character graphics and juvenile Prince are major blemished, good action set pieces, solid puzzles and a strong story redeemed it. 8/10 |

i felt this game was extremely well done. the game wasn't much of a headache, and definitely helped in progressing the story. the things lacking are definitely outweighed by the good. what i would have liked to see for improvement would have been the one button movements in the wall running and other similar moves. the ability to control the distance was a nice factor in the last games. also, it was more of a challenge to ensure you were really paying attention. another issue i had was the crank levers. they seemed as though they were just confusing. i could be turning them in one direction, then he starts to go that way, then all of a sudden turns it the other way... while i'm still going the same direction. in this way, the mechanics just seemed like they weren't tight enough, unlike previous PoP games. i also would have liked to see more in the line of traps. there were very few, and PoP is also known for its traps, such as spikes, blades, etc. the closest thing was the corruption tendrils and rolling balls. on the other hand, the good things were the interaction between elika and the prince. i loved the witty conversations, the bantering, etc. i thought they were perfectly played out. the voices were definitely americanized, but you get use to it so it's not too much of a problem. the main thing was that the voices didn't sound like they were reading off a cue card, but rather actually felt like the characters were talking. i also liked the open-ended feel to it. i was playing it backwards in order i think, but it was ok. lol. also, though, i was a bit skeptical when hearing about the celshading, i love how it looks. it's definitely very visually pleasing. it's a nice direction for the game. although, some time down the road, i'd also love to see a a PoP game looking more like assassins creed's graphics... but this way looks great as well. so i'd say the overall game is very good, with room for a few minor adjustments that could be fixed in the games to follow.
my score would have to be 8.5/10 JohnKarp.com | deviantART | Model Mayhem | YouTube "It takes an idiot to do cool things. That's why it's cool." - Haruhara Haruko |

Prince Of Persia (XBOX 360)
Graphics: 8/10 A great new direction for the series, it fits very well and everything looks stunning. A few character model clips and glitches but very few. Story: 8/10 A story very different than the last trilogy and though the last trilogy's story was better (as in you cared more for the characters) this games story is still very interesting, and funny. Audio: 9/10 Great music and sound effects make this games audio. The voice acting makes you laugh and is very well done and clear. Gameplay: 9/10 Very different than the last trilogy as you only fight one guy at a time. The fighting is deep and is fun but more fights along the way would be nice. The no dying thing is welcomed, no more waiting through a loading screen! Elika is very helpful and can do everything you can and more. A few things such as repetition is annoying but the game is overall a great game and a must pickup. Overall: 8.5/10 Prince Of Persia is sweet. |

Prince of Persia PS3
The game has insane visuals, and the artwork is magical. The efects and the animations are triple A. The music is just as great with tunes cuting in the right moment to complete the experience. The controls are very simple, and if you played the previus Sands of Time trilogy you will have to ajust. The combat is very fluid, and cinematic. The story is not bad, and I am sure it'le get better in the sequal. Some deep undertones, but the dialog of the Prince is brutal, but fit's with his personality. The ending will be anything but disapointing. Overall a great game for casuals, and a bit to easy, and simple for us POP fanboys. I still recomend this game to everyone. I give it a 9,3 out of 10. INSANE SPOILER I just have a question, if you didn't finish the game yet DO NOT READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you finished the game you know that at the end the Prince rereleases Ahraman to bring Elika back to life. So my question is does the enfing change if you collect all of the 1001 light seeds? Nothing is true, everything is premitted |

I just finished the game and ... how can i put it ... I just loved the whole experience. Ubi really putted together a well thought and organized project right here! And the end ... well it just keeps you dieing for what's coming next! (really mean to end it like that, strike of genius too) Now as for the soundtrack ... brilliant. I loved to explore the world just so i could here the songs! The sound really bounds with the situation we're in. As for the visual. Its like i was dreaming the whole time! So beautifull and well constructed you can see a lot of work was put in it! The fighting system although easy to pass, is really rewarding in a way that it is hard to make different coreographies every time! but when you do, it is worth it! The bosses ... carismathic, strong personalities and back story and we can really feel that there is something special in each one ... I'm just sad there weren't more of these special bad guys! The gameplay while walking through the world is really fluid and fun! Can't get tired of running around just to see the views! =p Finally ... the ending ... it was really hard to give up on all the work i did throughout the whole game! It actually hurt to cut those four trees one by one and then cut the tree of life ... damn ... I really felt the weight of the choice of the prince because i also liked elika so excellent work ubi I guess! XD So in a nutshell I didn't have as much fun in a game as i had in this one since Sands of Time! Really took me back! This one is really the best of the last four! Keep them coming!! Great Game Ubi! Can't wait to see the rest of the story! Back to work now! XD Seriously guys don't take tooo long! Oh and buy the way let me say two things that will get me killed: 1- I liked this Prince better than the previous. 2- The don't die system, great idea! Kept me playing without frustration and always enjoyed it! Peaceeeee out!

My review:
Epic. I believe that sums up all aspects nicely. Seriously though, my full review will be up shortly. |

Ok, I can sum up my review in three words; 'I loved it'. I freaking loved the new PoP, and nobody can persuade me to hate it. Ok, into a full review.
Story: The story starts off pretty slowly and intimately. Our new Prince, who is simply a tomb-robbing vagabond, is caught in a sandstorm and is separated from 'Farah'. He soon meets Elika when she falls on him from a great height, and follows her out of curiosity. A gentlemanly instinct leads him to protect her from the soldiers chasing her, which turn out to be her own people. The Prince soon finds himself way out of his depth when Elika's father releases Ahriman, the Dark God from his prison, thus corrupting the land. The Prince and Elika form an unlikely alliance to stop Ahriman. Now, the story seems cliched. In truth, it is at the start. However, the game's stunning twist is hinted at increasingly as the game progresses, until finally we discover the true reason Ahriman was released. Couple that with a gradual relationship forming between the Prince and Elika, with a bittersweet and emotional ending, you have an impressive story. Gameplay: The formula is largely unchanged here. The Prince has to acrobatically get from point A to point B while occasionally fighting enemies. The difference here is that the Prince has expanded his repertoire to an array of moves that allows him to traverse the game world with a flow that challenges Mirror's Edge. This platforming is kept engaging by Elika, who will leap to the Prince's rescue if he happens to slip up. However, Elika will often land the Prince at the START of the long platforming sequence he failed, leading to some repetition. The combat is a lot more personal than in the other PoP games. Fights are one-on-two, with the Prince and Elika chaining together moves into dazzling, high-flying combos. Elika will rescue the prince here as well, but her help comes at a price. The enemy that you are fighting will regain a lot of its health. What makes the fights insultingly easy, though, is that the Prince can avoid 'death' with a simple button press, allowing for 'immortality'. Graphics: In short, beautiful. The illustrative style looks absolutely fantastic, with healed areas bestowing bretahtaking vistas that beg the Prince to stop and stare. Combine this with some great animation and you have a good-looking game. Sound: The soundtrack is much improved over the SoT trilogy, with area-specific music. Corrupted areas play threatening tracks that border on rock, while healed areas play broad, sweeping instrumental tunes that sound lifted from Arabian Nights. The voice-acting is top-notch too. Nolan North nails a sarcasting and cynical Prince with a sensative side, Kari Wahlgren performing well opposite with gusto. Ahriman sounds suitably terrifying too. There you have it. As I said before, 'I loved it'. The New Prince of Persia Lightbringers Team [Cathy, Cristina, Bobby, Max, Harry] |

This game is an abomination of the PoP series. Whats with being able to navigate every aspect of the game with one button, it's like making a racecar driver use an automatic tranmission. The first three games were masterpieces of acrobatics and combat, this game waters it down so much, that it doesn't even resemble the first three games(Which were awesome). This game is Suicidally repetitive. Environmental graphics were good, the Character graphics sucked, I know they were trying to go a different route, or maybe trying to be lazy, but between the horribly tacky hair and outfit( I'm talking about the scarf, that awful purple scarf) and the cartoonish animation, totally bogus. Whats with not having any enemies to fight, I know they said they wanted to break the typical mold of fighting a gozillion enemies and then fighting a boss, but the combat and insane combo's is what made the first three games great, they were the backbone of the game, that would be like Resident Evil getting rid of the puzzles. The dialogue, was horribly annoying and cumbersome, that should be left for in between segments or levels. As far as the addition of Elika, I didn't care for it at all, she gets in the way at some points and holds you back at others, i.e. when you trying to climb across vines and you have to wait for her to climb on your back. The storyline seemed pretty generic, but there were certainly worse things about this game. The gauntlet was kind of irritating, that screeching sound was very grating, that was a very poor addition. One of the few bright spots was the sliding element, the was pretty cool, but certainly doesn't make-up for the MANY shortcomings of this game. This is by far the worst Prince of Persia game so far ( I mean it's not even close, this game SUCKS.). Honestly this has been the biggest letdown in the year or so that I've had my PS3. The saying "If it's not broke, don't fix it." perfectly describes this game. I wonder if Ubisoft did a single Iota of market research for this game. I can't imagine anyone who really liked the first three games would have said in a research interview, "Yeah, the next PoP shouldn't have any combat or combo's, and do you think you could dumb down the acrobatics to like one button, all that control is just too much". Seriously Ubisoft, what were you thinking. On a scale of 1-10, this game gets a solid 2 1/2. This game SUUUUCKS. So boring. I'm so glad I only rented it. I certainly won't be buying this game, and if the next one is anything like this one what-so-ever, I won't even rent it. Shame on you Ubisoft.
