I have a question. i was lookin in my old treasures, and found SH3 and 4...happy days tryin to install/play it as proven to be a real chalenge!!! I have a nvidia geforce 8400gs graphic card, on a 32 vista home edition. The problem is...i see the Ubi trailer, i see the game trailer...and then..."nothingness"...( i hear the music..and some graphic rubish) I've updated the grapichs drivers from hp and nvidia sites...and nothing...still having the same problem... what could it be?? can any of u guys help me?? |

You might try deleting the intro movies. Many people have had the same problems and deleted the intro movies and got the game working. They can be found in SHIV at Data\Movie\Intro. Glad to hear that worked!
Also one thing that has been key for me with 8800 series is the 182.50 series drivers. They seem to be the only ones stable besides the 169 version in other games. If I use the new Nvidia drivers I get blue screens and crashes all over the place in SH3 and even when trying to play normal videos. Good luck  ! Hi. As I recall, there were a number of issues with Vista. XP is so much better anyway. First, try deleting all of SH3. Run a de-frag, re-boot and try again.
