Trawled the web, this forum, others...

The problem is the sound - after installing all patches the sound goes totally screwy - stuttering all the time. I'm not the only one having this issue, seems lots of others have it too.

I've tried the directx hardware acceleration settings, no dice.

I'm not using on-board sound, I'm using a Creative Sound Blaster live 5.1 with the latest drivers. No other game I have has this problem.

Does anybody know a solution? Does UBI have a solution?

i found the same problem if i plug in a usb device. reboot with your joystick or any devices that you want and DO NOT ADD OR REMOVE USB DEVICES.
