and didn't realize I should have posted it here. I'm new to these forums and apologize.
I just downloaded BA2 through STEAM and then I DL'd the 2 patches for it from Ubisoft.com. When I try to install the patches it says " BlazingAngels 2 files will be updated in the following directory:", and the space is blank. So I browse and find the BA2 folder and am unable to figure out which folder to put it in, I've literally tried every single folder in the BA2 directory and none of them have "files that need to be updated".
Also, my Logitech Extreme pro3d joystick won't work with the game w/o the patches, so that makes it unplayable to me. Any help/advice is appreciated, thanks

seriously wanna figure this out, i really wanna use the new logitech joystick i bought. I'm thinking it has something to do with the downloaded version of it, since I got it through Steam. Maybe a file didn't transfer right or something. Any help is apprecited

Did you ever get a response.....I just downloaded the game from the Steam store and I am having the exact same problems

Jonesy - me too exactly. Ubi support advises running patch 1.01 but it won't recognize the BA2 exe version.

hello guys..me too I baught the game with UBI soft and xcannot play the game if the cd is not in and cannot use my joystick....cannot even contact support as each time there is a problem with their website ..has any body got any reply so far

i bought the game at least 6 months ago and despite trying to get my joystck to work failed at every attempt. Whjen I used the keyboard controlls found the game to jumpy to get past the Dunkirk level. I even tried changing the settings manually but that didn't work either. has anyone got it to work properly?

hey this looks like a good game but it wont install right . gsme wont work propoly satek x45 wont work and the 2.0 update wont load. it says game does not show in c drive can not load. when setting game up in resolution sound etc. it just keeps jumping up and down to next control. vista sucks. ubisoft needs to fix its problems or stop selling games. 2.0 update says ba2 squadrons not w11 it doesnt reconize the game cant even get on line
