I'm glad to see from this forum that I'm not the only one having issues getting support. I set down with my new game Friday night and was going to enjoy playing it. It was working fine the day before. When I started it up I was notified that patch v1.01 was ready to download and install. I followed the instructions and it said it installed sucessfully. When I exited the update I got the message that Blazing Angels had stopped working. When I tried to open it back up the patch tried to install again. I went through the steps again and was told "Nothing to do! The files are already updated." The patch tries to load everytime I start the program and I get the error message that Blazing Angels has stopped working. I installed the program, and re-installed, and get the same error. I even un-installed and took the copy back to exchanged for a one. I'm still having the same issue. I'm very upset and frustrated that I'm stuck with a new game I can't play. The only thing I can think that may be causing the issue is when it tells me that the patch installed successfully, there is a "Next" and "Exit" button. The "Next" button never highlights (even after 15 minutes) so I've been hitting "Exit". This may not be the cause since when I try to install the patch again it says it's already updated. I'm sure it may be a simple fix, but I simply can't get anyone from Ubisoft to assist me. My system can definetly handle it: Windows Vista Ultimate (32 bit), AMD 64X2 dual core 6400+ processor (3.2 GHZ), 4 GB RAM, and a Nvidia 8800 GTS 320 MB RAM. I'm not paying $3.00 per minute for phone support (how absurb!) and I've submitted a problem email but have not received a response (so much for next business day answers). Hopefully someone in this forum can help me because Ubisoft is of little assitance. To be such a big software company you would think they would offer better support. There is a lot of competition heating up on the PC front and I'm expecting to spend my dollars on someone else's programs, no matter how good Ubisoft's games look. I was looking foward to Crysis, but if it's going to have this kind of support I'll pass.

I was frustrated but Ubisoft's Customer Service has came through and solved my issue. If you have the same issue, update your graphics card drivers and download the latest version of DirectX. My faith is renewed in Ubisoft. Now that I can play the game, it's awesome!
