Patched to version 1.01 of Blazing Angels 2 and there is no response other than the game thinks the +X Axis is always active in the Control Key Setup Menu.
I think I will return the game within the next 10 days to where I bought it, but I will check to see if these Joystick issues ever get fixed with another patch. I might give it another chance at that point. |

I was able to get the Cyborg Evo FF to work by using it's keystroke and axis assignment software.
I think some confusion arise when reading the BA2 Manual because it says the game will recognize button and axis assignment best through Windows OS and that activating third party programs is unreliable and may not work at all. Then in the next paragraph that is contradicted when you say you can then activate an external keymapping program. It needs to be restated... too late now.... but it should say that you can use the joystick's keymapping program if you choose, but first make sure it is identified and calibrated in Windows OS. Anyway, Cyborg Evo FF works by using the Mouse Axis for the Joystick Axis and then assigning the appropriate keystrokes in the the Cyborg Evo mapper and then activating the profile. Sorry I could not edit my previous post to a "Eureka!! it works!!" |

Of course running my Cyborg Evo FF as a Mouse Emulator is not 'really' Joystick Support, it is just converting joystiok axii motion as Mouse direction axii. Not very accurate in-game so please make a good Joystick Patch Update.
Thanks. |
