Hi, Looks like I'm in a long line.
I've just purchased this game and have spent the last frick'n hour trying to get the joystick to work. 2 patches later and no luck. Logitech extreme 3d pro doesn't work. A great joystick by the way. No problems in any other games, ubi's other titles included. I wish I had access to this forum "BEFORE" I bought the game, in fact I am probably going to return it tomorrow, as I see no indication that UBI is going to rectify this soon. What nonsense. Plug and Play, more like Plug and piss off.
Thanks for the tips nipharris. I have it working now.

What you just said too, except I tried for six hours or more before I gave up - I wish, I wish, I wish I had checked this forum before getting the game. In my opinion, UbiSoft is not listening to anyone (PC platform, that is) at all.

Just thought I would 'bump' the thread - to make sure any people thinking about purchasing the PC version of this game at least have the opportunity to see that the game has some BIG FAULTS, that UbiSoft DO NOT CARE, and then, if they still go out and purchase this travesty (I cannot describe it as a game - games have to be at least playable) they will not be able to complain - because enough people have posted to show that there is definately a problem.

Shame on you UbiSoft for not even having the courtesy to reply to all your dissatisfied customers.

Shame on the Admins for the forums too - I see that they steer well clear of the PC BA threads.

No, they actually come around and delete posts that rave about other games, or get too personal in their UBI bashing.
They don't however answer anybody's questions.
That is so frickin' lame (expect this topic to dissappear)

This will do it;
Heroes of the Pacific, a game UBI only distributed in the US (it was developed by IRGurus), has an Official forum, where the Devs actually come and answer Q's a year after release.

Please see my post under "...got em working".

"I hope this helps with joystick problems, just review and redo the assignments by pressing the joystick buttons or moving the stick. You have to select the command to assign, press the right hand joystick button on the screen (use selected joystick?)and then press the button on the joystick itself or move the stick. For the throttle slide, you MUST have it in the middle, or it will assign it to every one of the commands. To assign this button, move it forward or back only after you select the command and press the menu button on the screen. Put it back to the middle afterward or it will recognize that "button" every time you want to change an assignment."
