words cannot describe the anger i feel right now at how terribly this game was made, or rather, ported.
ignoring the obvious joystick problems (that is just inexcusable) in the first 5 minutes of playing the training mission i had 2 game crashes, the second of which was a full system crash. and as a pre-emtive strike, i've got a 3500+ a 6800 gt, and a gig of corsair xms. this isn't the newest system on the market, but then this game isn't the newest either, and definately not the most graphically advanced. my system can run far more graphically advanced games at better quality than this game. to add to this, when the game was ported, the incompetent team in charge of it neglected to change the training instructions. i ended up flying around with joe repeatedly telling me to use the right stick, or press the left trigger till i managed to work out myself. i'll stop the rant here before i start swearing, but i have 2 questions. 1) if the shop i bought this game from refuse to refund it, how can i get my money back from ubisoft? 2) are there any good WW2 figher games out there? You probably can't, Ubisoft never refunds games themselves. At best they will give you a sealed copy in return for your copy you now opened, so you can use that one to get your money back at the shop. |

I read enough of these posts to realize, I made a mistake in my purchase !
I got mine 3 days ago and have nothing but trouble getting this to work with my Saitek X36F. It did work for a bit but you can't program it for sh#t, then it won't even get detected anymore. Then they got the x/y movements on the stick ass backwards. I spent the entire evening yesterday and today trouble-shooting my stick as well. Patches are sh#t for the joysticks , if that's what you want to call them. I'm a dedicated flight simmer, but I just didn't do my research on this one. What a kick in the ass I thought. My bust! Tech. support is c r a p, and I let the kid know where I was coming from. His lack of concern in general ticked me off. I never dealt with a company like this before. Thank God I've no trouble with any Tom Clancy simms. I've been here like some desperate fool, for the past 4 hours, trying to get the sh#it to work. After reading many posts, I've decided to talk to the store and exchange it. COOPER...Avsim.com or Flightsim.com and many other sites, have what you're looking for. There are a few great WWII flight simms out there. We all just got a bumb deal and have to deal with this one. Research products before you buy them, and go to forums as well ,first. What more can I say! It's an arcade game for the XBOX. Semper Fi, DJ |

Blazing Angels doesn't work with XBOX 360 either. I've had it for 3 days and can't get past the Photo Recon mission. I've Sim landed on many aircraft carriers and served on 5 for real. For the price it is the worst game, PC or game box, I have ever bought!!

I contacted support but they basically blew me off and ssaid to come lok here for the answer. I am still looking. |

I agree with you all. I've learned my lesson and for now on, I'm going to research any game before purchase (ESPECIALLY UBISOFT GAMES)

I was able to return my copy of Future Shop after making an unholy ruckus infront of the manager. It took a while, but my perserverence paid off and I was able to swap the game for Lost Planet. I thinks its also safe to say that anyone in the store who overheard my tirade will likely think twice about purchasing it.

I couldn't agree with you more. I have a new Saitek AV8R and older MS Sidewinder Pro. Neither work and the third party mapping software suggested by someone else on here didn't work either. UBISOFT referred me to a patch which only applies to BA WWII which, thank God, I do not own. Developing a flight simulator style of game without Joysticks/Foot Controls as the primary controller is ridiculous. Jason at UBISOFT said I should go on this forum in the hopes that the game developers will address my concern. What horrible customer service. John in Canada Oh Yeah Customer support referred me to the French support site. Nice. I speak English as do the majority of Canadians Eh!
