First off I am using the uninstaller from 'add/remove programs' in the control panel.
The first time I tried it it started to update the game to version 1.something 2 something. I don't want to update the game and I don't know where it got that idea. So I hit the cancel button. I tried again several times thereafter and each time it showed the Blazing Angels uninstaller with the game icon on the left and all that. However, the text at the top asked me if I wanted to uninstall Oblivion?! I do have Elderscrolls 4 Oblivion installed. I accepted and it says it successfully uninstalled Oblivion. Oblivion is still installed though, and so is Blazing Angels. Getting frustrated I just went and deleted the folder manually. I'm sure I can get rid of all the excess baggage later. Usually when I try the uninstaller from the 'add/remove' programs utility after the program has been removed an error comes up saying that the program isn't around anymore and asks if I want to get remove the uninstaller from 'add/remove programs'. No such error or option comes up now. Its just some error about an unspecified error when detecting the version. So after removing the file manually I got back 3gb but the uninstaller is still registering 150mb being used. Ugh. How do I completely remove this game? |
