Sorry people for the long absence but i'm waiting for a new joystick (siatek x52).
could anyone let me know if it works fine or not?
and moreover could someone share his setting?

I have tried to use my X52 on this game for two months. It will not assign the right joystick buttons no matter what I do. Saitek support has no solution, and says the stick is incompatible with the game. 1.02 patch does not fix any problems associated with this stick. There is no human help from Ubisoft. Let me know if you have any luck !

just bought it and installed
it seems to work.
the only tip i can give you is to enter the joystick poperties pannel and select the deadzone control.
you have to put al the rotary and trottle in the middle.

FOR THOSE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH SAITEK X52 YOU CAN USE A PROGRAM CALLED "JOYSTICK 2 MOUSE 3" SO WITH THIS, WE CAN USE JOYSTICK AS A MOUSE, DOING THIS WILL BE NO MORE AXIS PROBLEMS, THE REST OF BUTTONS CAN BE ASSIGNED LIKE KEYB KEYS USING X52 CONFIGURATION PROGRAM, ACCELERATION WILL BE NO ANALOG BUT IT'S OK, SO NOW WE'RE JUST USING "KEYBOARD + MOUSE".
IT'S NOT A DEFINITIVE SOLUTION BUT NOW WE CAN PLAY THIS XIT. I HOPE IT HELPS.

post a link so i can try this app. You can use the saitek mapping software to change the stick axis to mouse emulation but i cant seem to get it to work in-game. the problem is that the mouse doesnt work while the joystick is enabled in-game. You would have no choice but to emulate all the buttons on your js as keys

I finally got my X52 to work on this game. I had never had the precision slide at the half way mark when assigning joystick numbers. Now everything is working great. I am really enjoying the game!

Thanks for the info on x52 but I tried precision slide to half way and all rotory dials at half way and still could not get it to work. I have both patchs installed and was not sure if you have both also installed. Maybe I am still doing something wrong which would not be the first time.
Any help from you would be most helpful
