I've been working with the Sandbox2 editor to add two choppers, a NK pilot, and a LAW. I have one chopper stationed at the beach below the radio tower, the other on a small beach just beyond the command post with pilot standing nearby, and the LAW just outside the comand post. I will also add machine gun nests around the chopper below the radio tower to make it more challenging to get to.

I have set up trigger points at the 1st chopper and at the entrance of the command post trailer so the pilot will enter his chopper if I take off in the other one or enter the command post trailer. I'm still working on making the pilot fly the chopper but have for now encountered a problem that requires backup files I don't have.

I only saved the island.cry and GameData.pak files before editing the Island map and now I cannot restore the terrain to not show bright white. I have tried putting the stock files mentioned above back in, using Reload Terrain, disabling Shadow Maps, setting the Config Spec to Medium, increasing Page File and reinstalling the SB2 editor.

This is NOT merely a terrain texture problem as the choppers and one AI I placed in the map are still there despite my putting the stock island.cry map back in. The mp Shore map shows fine. I believe one person was correct whom said the entire map folder rather than just the .cry file by the same name need be saved to assure a backup copy was.

Thus, I need to reinstall the Island folder located at C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\Levels\island. The file size is around 140MB but zips to about 120MB. If one of you could host it somewhere like Filefront (free uploads) it will save me from downloading the whole 2GB demo again.

I plan to make this modified map available for download once I get it working properly.

You're right. Sorry. I saw this link on a forum for the mappers. I've just launched the download and it started without problem. It doesn't work anymore, though it was working some min ago. I can upload that folder on my FF page. I think in 1 h max it's available.

EDIT : hold on! 100 mo with compression, in 25 min you have it normally.

EDIT 2 : wtf! "An unknown error has occurred." The upload was finished and it's the 1rst time I have this message! I'm very sorry. I'll try again, but that sucks! and I don't know why.

There is an island folder with several weapons caches with all the weapons in the game in case you want to try out the sniper rifle, the grenade launchers, the rocket launcher or even the tactical nuke. Once you played the demo 10 times its fun to play with the other weapons to get a feel for the destructive power that will be yours in two weeks.

I wasn't aware FCCM had such a file Coops, but I must admit I'm starting to like adding my own goodies to the map.
