I'm not really into SP stuff, but played this game to the end. Got to a mission where one guy says "I know someone who could be a Sargent", then the game ends.

Wow, I felt such a sense of achievement.(sarcasm)

I would rather have good immersion in a game, than have a good storyline. Of course, a story helps create immersion, but there is more to immersion than a good story.

Glad to see you branching to SP some, Clivey. My friend told me about the CoD2 'locked' server situation, things are somewhat similar with Quake4 - not because of cheating, but because clans are practicing for whatever competitions. Are people playing anything besides CS, WoW and Beef2?

I know thats the point, I was immersed and then that happen, I just felt there should have been more to it.
