Someone posted in the AMD forums that Crysis will be released on 09/11/2007, according to EB Games. The same date has been posted on Amazon.

What an interesting date to release a game.

The fact remains to question if Cysis will change the First Person Shooter landscape to the same degree that Far Cry did.

Dont forget that these are unconfirmed dates, with the date being floated for the EU release being 14Sep07.
Also dont forget that any release date will be controlled by their new publisher not Crytek, who if my memory serves me correct is based in San Fran?

That said, I would be amazed if it were released on that date...I know some people will say its been 6 years, but it is still a date that echos around the world for all the wrong reasons...

@jvmach67: To answer your question, no Crysis wont change the face of gaming, but Obsidian Edge 2 that comes free with every copy of Crysis will (Sorry I decided the original post was a bit melancoly so had to cheer it up a bit)
