First the good(?) news ... According to the April edition of PC Gamer (UK), Microsoft has announced that Halo 2 for PC will be available around Christmas.
Now for the bad news ... PC fans who want to continue their Master Chief adventures will have to invest in Windows Vista, as the game will only be available on the new OS. Microsoft successfully used Halo to jump start Xbox ... wonder if it can do the same again for Vista ?? At least we can look forward to some new fanboy flamewars; "Halo 2 for PC is FAR better than Halo 2 for Xbox !! ... no it isn't !!! ... yes it IS !!! ... NO, IT ISN'T !!! ... YES IT IS !!!! .............." Richie. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Richie_B43, |

I am not a MS fanboy but that statement is pur BS. The Xbox was a sucess before Halo 2 ---------------------------------- |

Hey, don't shoot the messanger ... all I did was paraphrase part of the article.
What PC Gamer actually said was, and I quote; "...launching a new platform with a big name is tried-and-tested in the console market. The first Halo ensured the Xbox got off to a good start, and Microsoft hope the same trick will work for Windows Vista." Richie. PS: I just re-read my own post, and it does indeed read as BS ... what I meant to say was that 'Microsoft successfully used Halo to jump start Xbox'... not Halo 2! Sorry about that. |
