Yes, Crysis is going to be the first DX10 game which comes with Windows Vista. Seeing as the Crysis demo was first revealed at the Microsoft PDC, it seems logical the two shall be released close to one another or perhaps in conjunction.

When you say comes with Vista you mean DX10, not Crysis is bundled?

I just got the West Coast download and it worked for me. Maybe you just fixed it or it just started working. DL was slow/choppy tho.

Anyways, the vid looks great. Can't wait for the next gen games to come out they are going to be mind boggling.

But, my computer that was new a year ago will probably need an update by then :-(

That vid is just wonderful, I can't get over the detailing the characters textures too. Stunning.

With all these new maps applied to the models and various other technologys, do you guys think modding is going to be a harder to pull off? More technical knowledge needed just because of the shear volume of new technology used in the engine?

Hopefully that kind of stuff will be well documented and easy to implement in sandbox v 2! (hope they continue to support modding)

Either way, looks like a truely amazing engine... to cry for.

Hmm, you're right. I didn't type that very well. Windows Vista ships with DX10. Crysis will be the first DX10 enabled game. I highly doubt the two will be bundled though. There isn't any public information on that afaik.
