There is this spyware program called "Spy Falcon" which is supposed to get rid of spyware but my computer was infected with this program where every 5 mins this red box appears on the left side of my screen saying my computer is infected. I ran Norton Antivirus and Ad-aware programs to see if anything came up and nothing did. When I ran the spyware program "Spyware search n destroy" a program came up called "FAKE SERCURITY ADD" meaning that red virus message on the bottom on my screen that keeps coming up that says my computer is infected fake. I have done everything I could to get rid of it but I cant!
PLEASE PEOPLE TELL ME WAYS TO GET RID OF IT! This spyware is just an ad to download a spyware program.
Sorry to hear about your problem...unfortunately,I have just encountered the very same thing,and had to have my pc taken away by my friends whizzkid son to fix the issue.This is why I havent been on the forum for a while(yeah,I know you all missed me tons! ).I'm not sure what exactly happened,but he said that he had to uninstall and then re-install Norton in order to fix the problem.Dont know if this would work for you though?? Good luck..hope you get it fixed soon.
That plan about coping and searching I mentioned in the Frag Dolls forum worked until I got to the fake ad and the toolbar. I cant get rid of them. Ill have to think of something else :/!
